My goes on a maineland HOB 55 to 75 Gallon filter. It for those big hob filter. for a 55/75 gallon tank.

Q: I have a 72gal tank with the filstar xpl canister filter. will one pouch be enough? or do i need two?

I used "one" pouch in my 125 gallon tank. I run 2 AC110's. Worked amazing!

Q: Does the size 6 fit the Filstar XP?

Size 6 is the correct size for all the Filstar XP filters. The difference in 1,2,3, and 4 is the number of media canisters in the filter.
