Im sure there's more bang for your buck if you were to buy this off the shelf in Japan, imported it loses some value for money spent. It's still pretty good though, its dense, light in flavor, and not a chore to eat. I can see how this would feel drying if you have a naturally dry mouth. I have an active saliva production so i didn't need a drink with it, but others might. It's not going to be as candy like in flavor compared to protein bars found in America, but it's got more nutrients. I had this on a completely empty stomach and after 5 or so minutes of eating it i felt decently satiated. Not full but not stomach pain inducing hungry either. Im most likely going to buy it again in the bulk option

Aside from the video game references you'll see (which are dead on despite the gag) these are easily the most amazing calorie bar I've had, and working in a sportsmans warehouse for a year and a half I got very acquainted with a lot.This beats any of them out of the water from the nutritional standing, feeling full after one package (2 bars a pack, two packs per box), and fantastic taste.They are pretty dry, which is as close to a complaint as I have, along with most vendors online either don't stock much of it or overinflated their price when they do (same size box for $20+, the hell).This stuff will always have a place by my bed for those late mornings I can't fit in a breakfast and in my survival kit for those 'just in case' moments.

Pretty tasty snack for early work shifts

Going by the looks of it it looks like it has a similar texture and consistency of a Little Debby Cosmic Brownie but it's quite the opposite. When I bit into it I was expecting my teeth to sink into it, but was unpleasantly surprised when I found out it was actually hard and it broke off! Inside my mouth it began to break down into a powder as it fell apart and the taste wasn't too bad but not the greatest thing I've ever tasted though (I ordered the chocolate flavor). Is it terrible? Not by any means, but you best not get your hopes up if you're just ordering one and expecting it to be the greatest thing ever after being hyped up by Mr. Domino and the infamous MGS3: Snake Eater. It took mine nearly 2 months to arrive from Japan and it was quite a letdown when I tasted it for the first time.

This is a fun Salaryman snack and being an American Salaryman of sorts I had to try it.These look a bit like chocolate, shortbread cookies and have a rather chalky texture. There is a hint of coco flavor in each bite and they're a little softer than a cookie.According to what I can find on the Internet two of these things give you about 200 calories. So, I'm not going to be able to run away from the "Scoops" very fast but it kept me from passing out when I did not eat breakfast.These are perfect for the Proletariat Dome. I shared mine with D503 and he liked them.

The seller is great as is the product.Like most Americans who are interested in this product I heard about it from Metal Gear Solid 3. My friends tried it at an anime convention and it was a good cheaper alternative to con food.Shipping on this took a bit since this comes from a Japanese seller but it is fun to see a customs sticker declaring that the package contained a cookie from Japan.Highly recommended for MGS fans and people who want something like a clif bar that tastes better

Wanted to Try these ever since I first Played Metal Gear Solid 3. And now I can say these are pretty Good! If I can nit pick, they are Dry but other than that, they're great!Would Buy again and Try the Other Flavors!11/10 - Better than I expected!!!
