A wonderful combination of Art and Prose.

A cute little rhyme book that me and my 5 year old daughter can both appreciate. I enjoy the artsy feel of the writer and authors impact. And of course my daughter loves the rhymes and pictures. It’s a win win I don’t mind pulling out every night. Serves as great decor as well

Best book for all ages. I read to my grand kids and adult kids. They all enjoyed it ! Positive message. This will definitely be my number 1 gift too gift during the holidays

I discovered this book during a trip to Miami. Beautifully made! This combination of two avant-gardiste artists is very exceptional.

I read this story to my children. I wish to pass it on. We are all in Canada now but my children and grands will be well versed in Grandma's literary history. UCLA '85.B.A. English, American Lit. focus. And Maya Angelou? Basquiat? Beautiful expressions, pure hearts, treasures of wisdom. Wouldn't it be great if our children were, at the core, safe? And not FRIGHTENED??

I read a lot of good reviews about this book, especially for kids. and Maya Angelou is one of my favourite writer. However, I miss her good work in this book. It supposed to be also educational for kids 4+, but didn't work for my kids expect the front cover page. Pity.
