We bought this unit for our office. The system included one DVR with 1GB HHD and 4 5MP digital cameras. It was easy to set it up with an included mouse after connecting to a TV. The DVR picked up wireless cameras as it stated plug and play. We were happy about the wireless connection distance and the quality. We are planning to add 2 more cameras as this is a 8 channel DVR. If you are looking for a good wireless DVR system, this is a good choice. You don’t always have to buy big name product.

The installation is kind of easy, just connect it to a monitor and your network, then set up the four cameras. The full color night vision pictures are seen very clearly at night, and the motion sensor is good, but I turn mine off, you can set it to low or high and it will send you an alert when it detects a motion. This is an excellent wireless security camera system and I’m very happy with this purchase.

The interface on this is better than most of the other similar units. Seems to run better and is more user-friendly. The cams also work pretty well. Not extra high quality but fine for the price. Mine also came with a harddrive, even though it says I ordered the one without a drive (so I bought a drive expecting to need one..), but I saw other reviewers say they ordered the one with a drive and didnt get a drive. So, YMMV on that front.

Not much instruction to add to phone

Bought this in October 2024 and a camera failed last week (August 1, 2025). Bought a replacement camera that came without an antenna. Can't find any way to directly contact Jousecu about possible warranty OR about the absent antenna. I suppose the only way to remedy is return to Amazon the replacement camera. I like the system - cameras are a little too sensitive and easy to trip alarm but I can live with that. Not finding any product support outside of predetermined troubleshooting questions is NOT good!
