Good size, seems sturdy, happy with it even though it's a littler expensive for what it is, there are much cheaper versions available elsewhere

Don’t recommend for trying to melt left over 3D printing PLA waste. I thought I would give it a try. The mold held up fine and maybe if I had used an oven. I just used a heat gun, the head was difficult. My daughter was still delighted with it
