Presentation The Paul Costelloe Genuine Leather Designer Women's Foia Key Ring is supplied in a very attractive little box, the top coloured mulberry and depicting a lady, whilst there is branding on the top and all sides. Removing the top, the base half of the box is black, and the key fob is securely fasted into it with an elasticated hoop and two small plastic security hoops, there is branding visible here too. First Impressions Extracting the key fob from its packaging we can see the lovely Mediterranea coloured plump leather fob, housing a small gold logo and branding engraved onto a disc which loops into a fastening in the centre of the fob, at the top of the fob is a keyring holder and a clasp to attach/detach securely when needed. Day To Day Use The Foia key fob is quite plump as stated and slightly oversized, but it does make a statement, and in my wife’s case she is fortunate enough to have the Paul Costello handbag in the same Mediterranea colour – which is also gorgeous – the key fob adds a little bling into proceedings. The key fob is practical enough when used, but the clasp is somewhat stiff at first and needs to be worked to loosen a little. The workmanship on display is readily apparent, there are no blemishes or loose threads where stitching has been undertaken, edges are smoothly finished and it looks great, in and of itself a talking point. Summing Up This key fob is a quality piece from a designer who crafts lovely accessories – the presentation is second to none and the detail exquisite.

This key ring by Paul Costelloe arrived in an illustrated presentation box which was protected on arrival within a plastic bag. The key ring is made from genuine leather which is both soft and tactile which is available in a range of colours. I chose the Mediterranean colour which is a deep navy blue but there is also harvest pumpkin (a bright orange), lion (a tan), sunflower (an ochre yellow), jelly bean (a bright green) and jet black. The range of colours is lovely and there should be something to suit the majority of people. The entire key ring measures approximately 12cm in height and 5.6cm in width so is a sizeable item. The key ring would make a beautiful gift particularly with the included presentation box but I’m definitely savin this one for my keys! The keychain has a high build quality with the luxurious grain leather and solid feeling gold coloured metal hardware which is finished really well. The tag in the centre of the key ring features the embossed fox brand logo and the key ring is slightly padded with beautifully neat stitching. It is a really nicely made object and shows good craftmanship. The key ring has both a clip and key ring which gives you the option to attach your keys securely or attach the lovely accessory onto a bag. Priced at £19 at the time of reviewing, the key ring isn’t cheap but neither is the brand or the quality of the product so I would definitely say that it is worth the cost and would definitely recommend.

Sometimes one stumbles upon a Gem. In this instance, lets talk about the review item itself, the key fob, before turning to the designer. The key fob is well presented (and secured) in a nice cardboard box, with a suitably 'arty' image on the cover. The fob is made from real leather, you can smell it and the 'leather' tag confirms it. The tag has a keyring and a caribena attached. You can tell this is a quality item. The leather is soft, uniform and padded, the fittings are well made and to finish there is a little tag with the designers logo on it. Turning to the designer, I hadn't heard of him before. Initially I thought Paul Costelloe was a corporate brand, but having had a look on the Internet and at his homepage, he is a living individual. And boy, does he design (and sell) some nice leather goods. Some of his travel bags and male holdall bags are awesome. I might just have to crack out the credit card...

My wife wanted a nice leather keyring and I this one is the ideal choice. When I handled it for the first time, it was more luxurious and better quality than I had expected. I could tell it was a luxuriously made genuine leather keyring, just by looking at it. The gold plated metal parts look nice and well formed. The leather piece is nicely padded and beautifully stitched and has a good durable sealed edge which I like. My wife likes it very much and it looks great, next to her keyfob. The spring actioned crab claw clip enables her to secure it to her bag, waist pouch inner hook or similar place. This is extra safety measure incase her keys fall out by accident. Very good value for a top notch keyring.
