LifeProof NÜÜD Series Waterproof Case for iPhone 8 (ONLY) - Retail Packaging - Morning Glory (WHINSOME Orchid/Smoky Grape)

Very protective case. The absence of the plastic screen protector makes everything more crisp to the touch. I purchased a glass screen protector for it. I love the case. The one issue I have is, when you swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the quick flashlight screen (along with stop watch and other features), it is hard to get that menu up due to the case blocking my finger from contacting the bottom of the screen. Other than that one small issue. The case is perfect for me.

I have owned many “nuud” cases and they ALL have stood the test of time. I have worn out cases and Lifeproof replaces them no questions asked...ya know....”Lifeproof” is Lifeproof. So I highly recommend them!!One thing that does go great with the nuud case is Bluetooth headphones. Who needs cords flying around getting caught on everything? Unfortuantley, you will experience some minor speaker dampening. But- I can still hear people and people can still hear me without Bluetooth. So don’t let that be the deciding factor.I own a business in the Pacific NW that requires us to work outside 9-10 months of the year (rain/snow) on ladders, roofs and inclines (height,dirt,dust and mud).This is personally my 5th Lifeproof case. All my employees have one! I needed to return one ONLY because it wore out after over 2 years. GET SOME!

For many years I relied on a LifeProof case for my previous iphone (5c), with great results. Their case for the iPhone 8 is even much better! If you install the phone in the case correctly (which takes just a minute after the waterproofing test), there is no objectionable distortion of sound quality. The button moldings in the case are designed perfectly to fit and operate the buttons on the phone. Seriously durable protection is provided by this attractive case. Customer service (phone number is on their website) will walk you through any installation glitches. 5 stars.

Last week, I was working and got out of my car in a rainstorm and my phone slipped out to the curb into raging run-off. I cursed and picked it out of the water and took it inside to assess the damage. I dried the entire outside then removed the case. Nothing inside the case was wet! I work outside in the elements often, which is why I need a weatherproof case. I like the slim profile (the OtterBox case is much chunkier) because I mostly keep my phone in my pocket. Drawbacks are that the selfie camera lens has to be cleaned often with a cotton swab because dirt gets trapped in there. And the swipe-up screen (for flashlight, etc.) is hard to get your fingers to because of the case rimming the screen. I've dropped my cased phone countless times. The other 2 cases I had eventually chipped around the edge, and was no longer water-tight; I replaced them both with this same case, as it works great for as long as it lasts. My screen has never cracked.

I’m kinda confused why there are bad reviews on this. I really like the case and it keeps my phone from cracking. The only bad thing is that the case vibrates a little bit when your volume is all the way up. (I think it does this since it’s life proof and the sound has no where to travel so it vibrates in the case.) but other than that, it works perfectly.

I've had a waterproof LifeProof case before and have loved them. Maybe because of this I didn't do the best reading on the product. I didn't realize the entire front screen is unprotected, and the home button is covered by a thin layer of plastic-like film. I purchased this since it was waterproof and I live on the coast. But I cannot get myself to trust this phone getting wet. You really have to put a lot of trust in the seal around the screen of the phone as well as the home button film. If anything leaks, even for a second, the phone would be ruined.It does well when I drop it. No cracks and I've had it for over a year. But within that year the home screen film has already developed a hole in it. (Again, wouldn't dare taking it in the water.)

Life proof has protected each and every iPhone upgrade I’ve had. I’ve tried many other cases but always return to the protection of life proof. The last nuud case I had was on my iPhone 5s. I can see some definite improvements on the nuud for the iPhone 8. Very happy. 🙂 Side buttons are a bit stiff and require a good push to get a response. The home button works great and the finger print ID has no issues. Call quality is much better!! I’ve had no issues hearing or being heard on a phone call. Music and videos do have some vibration. It’s not a deal breaker though. I usually use my AirPods for music.As for the durability, I’m sure this case will prove to be just as durable as it’s previous siblings. I’m not super hard on my cases and I don’t treat them like water toys. However, I do spend a lot of time at the barn around horses. Dirt, dust, drops, and accidental dunks in a water bucket. Life proof has barn proven protection! I’m very happy with this case and the protection that I’ve come to trust from life proof. 😎

the case works great - Love the "no touchscreen" on the case - the case is durable and has survived several falls over 4ft - the only nit-pick is the door for the charging port eventually just fell away - not sure how or why - just knowi discovered it that way, one day - most like it happened as a result from a drop - haha

Works are expected - has saved my wife’s phone from breaking when she dropped it .

Al ser un poco torpe con los celulares empece hace algunos años a usar fundas Life proof desde entonces todos mis celulares estan perfectos como recien sacados de caja. Recomiendo mucho la funda ya que uno se puede relajar un poco más al usar el celular sin poner en riesgo la inversion(el celular). Al final si lo quieres vender despues de unos años la proteccion es tal, que parece nuevo y es mas facil de vender.

from $25 to $97 sgd...wow daylight robbery and for that you get 1 star...case creaks like mad...might wanna stay away...also package was left at door step without any notification, wow great service indeed...
