Love it!!! At first she liked it but still wanted the iPad instead (we’ve both got bad colds so I gave in) so I decided to buy the sesame street card, a holder with a strap and it has been game over ever since. We lost a few cards at Costco today and I wish they had a little Rolodex function so I didn’t have to go on my phone to cast the cards we lost!! But it is so worth the money, my kid loves to put those cards in, take em out, plug her headphones in and out. She loves it! It’s got a lot of features that are so easy to use. The haptic feedback on the buttons are great. I teach elementary school and am going to take this in to show the admin for small group activities. It looks so cute, people have ready asked me about it. Pros: easy to use. I love how it sounds. It looks good, seems durable. Battery is sufficient. It’s heavy and feels high quality. It saves what cards you have but only on the app. I like the radio and the night light. I like how high quality everything feels, even the cards are super sturdy (they are credit card sized which is great.) Cons: have to go on my screen to cast my lost cards. Don’t like how I had to connect it to WiFi. If I have to buy a subscription for it, game over. I’d never use it again.

I first heard of the Yoto player from my in-laws. Their daughter was absolutely crazy about it, and would listen to books and stories for hours. My daughter talked of little else leading up to Christmas. It was the main thing she wanted. We have not been disappointed. I wasn’t quite prepared for its versatility. With its own radio stations, podcasts, alarm clock, cordless portability due to its internal battery, and coolest of all, that it doubles as a Bluetooth speaker. It has great sound quality and volume, plus I never have to be concerned with what my daughter is listening to because everything is child focused. Fantastic product if you want to keep your kids off of devices and screens!

My kids love their Yoto! It's such a great alternative to having the tv on. The stories are great background noises for my daughters while they play with their dollhouse or blocks. We love listening to the music cards when winding down for bed and talking about their day. Yoto also has cards that you can record on yourself. So great for military families! We have recorded stories or just messages for the kids to have for when they're missing mommy or daddy when one of us is deployed. Keeps us all connected even when we're countries apart! Can't rave about it enough.

I'm sure like others you have/are contemplated yoto or tonies. I went with yoto, I feel like it's more geared towards older kiddos. We got it when my daughter was 3.5 and I'm sure could have used it younger. She has played it everyday since Christmas. The set up was difficult, but I googled why it wasn't working and figured it out easily. It's not as portable as the mini, but my daughter still instead on taking it to the UK with her and her grandparents house whenever she stays! I was sceptical about the starter kit because of the unfamiliar cards. Well, the songs of the playground is her favorite card, she's learnt new songs from it and so have it. Literally a family favorite!

I purchased the yoto player for my 3-4 year old classroom. It is a great little device that has many capabilities, however, the functionality of the device is not exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking to purchase something that is more “child led” I would not go with this device. It has more features so it is more complicated and I’m not able to just put it out for the preschooler to operate. Sound quality is great and connecting it was simple however I did not feel the “daily podcast” it has as a feature is suitable for kids under 5 years of age as it is definently over their mentality to hold their attention. The yoto player would be a wonderful purchase for children over 5 years of age and allowing them to utilize it until well into their teenage years. You would for sure get your money worth purchasing it.

My kid loves this thing. The free radio stations are really great and play an array of music from oldies to Raffi to classical. The parameters you can set up as a parent are great too.... you can set volume limits for different times of the day and what stations the radio will play at different times. Yoto daily is a fun educational show updated every day. It is well build and doesn't feel cheap, you can unplug it and it has a decent battery life.... I really don't have much negative to say about it. Maybe it would be good to have a wider array of music card purchase options, but you can just make your own so it doesn't really matter that much in actuality. Highly recommend!

We are loving this Yoto player. It's been really helpful to cut down on television time.I created a card all by myself in minutes of my twins ( boy/girl 3.5 years) current favorite character, Bluey. When they tire of it I can delete and create a card for their newest interests. I love the toothbrush timer, night light and ok to wake features. The player itself is very intuitive for my toddlers to navigate and they ask for it often. They like switching cards to listen to stories and silly songs. We are really enjoying exploring all the great ways to use and learn with the Yoto. I have nothing but excitement about how much fun they have with their Yoto all while learning and establishing good routines. I can't recommend it enough!

I purchased this for my 6-year-old's birthday. We do not regret this purchase at all. Sound quality of the speakers is excellent. Set up was a piece of cake! My whole family enjoys listening to Jake with a new podcast every day. No worries with scratching a CD to listen to an audio story. The worst that can happen is your child loses the card, but you have it downloaded on the app. I do recommend getting the silicone case cover. Easier for the child to carry around by a handle. Full parental control! Safe for kids! Highly recommend!

The Yoto Player is fantastic! My son enjoys listening to stories, making it a great alternative to a tablet. It keeps him engaged and entertained. We ordered additional stories because while the initial bundle was enjoyable, he didn’t fully connect with them. Plus, it really stimulates his auditory skills, which is a wonderful bonus!

We love our yoto players! They work well and are a good alternative to tablets and TV. My kids also love the radio that is included with it.

Our toddler loves her yoto player. There are so many great options for song and story cards. This is definitely a toy I can see her using for years to come.

We LOVE this product so much and use it daily. From music card to audiobooks for the older ones, to the daily podcast which is incredibly fun to listen to and their radio that has child appropriate fun popular songs. It’s great at home and wonderful on the go as well.

Our son is 5 and like most kids loves iPads, switches, tv, etc. we were not sure how he would like it and if he would have the attention span to sit and listen without pictures. He absolutely loves it, we listen to it most nights before bed and he has his favourite stories that he likes to listen to over and over again. I do wish that the books were cheaper as sometimes you’re only getting a book that’s 20 minutes long, but you’re paying around $13 and up. The one thing that I really do like about when you purchase the cards is that you get the digital copy right away so you don’t have to wait for the card to come in the mail. There is literally something for every age group, and I like the fact that there is a lot of books based on Disney movies. The book cards make an excellent gift for any kiddos who already have a Yoto.
