Not sure after reading the google review if they really work but we burn one every year as a precaution. But we still have our chimney swept every few years. This is not a replacement for a chimney sweep. Just a maintenance. A chimney fire can burn a house down. The type of wood you burn also makes a big difference in creosote buildup.
