At last - a Goldilocks brush
Yes, of course, this is very subjective and difficult to review as one person's perfect brush as a thing of horror to someone else... but I'll try. I prefer brushes with a plastic "bristle" (teeth? tang?) as they are much easier to use on just-from-the-shower wet hair. Unfortunately, the ones where the bristle is mounted or molded solidly into the handle are invariably far too stiff and you might as well be dragging a metal rake through your hair. And, in my experience, even the ones where the bristles are mounted into some sort of pad - which certainly appears as though it will afford some flexibility and 'give' - are no better, they're still too stiff. But this make of brush is just right! Not too floppy and not too rigid... just the right amount of 'give' to comfortably work with your hair, wet or dry. And they are hard to find, trust me. I've bought dozens of brushes over the years thinking I might have found one that could replace my wonder brushes of the past that have long gone to the trashcan of dead brushes, only to find in the first two seconds of use: "Nope, another flop." My hairdresser uses one of these, I tried it, and immediately bought three from her supplier. Sheer bliss. That was a few years ago and, between my wife and I, they've worn out (ultimately, the teeth will start to come out or the rubber base pad will come unattached from the handle). Time for some new ones. Arrgghhh! I was NOT happy to hear her supplier no longer carries them. Luckily for me, she did some detective work and found them available here on Amazon. Woo-hoo! If you even think this might be what you're looking for, buy one and give it a try. I guarantee you that if you like it, you'll be ordering more while they're still available. Great brush.

Quality has gone downhill!
I have been using these hair brushes for over 10 years. I recently purchased two brushes and when I used them for the first time, the bristles detached from the brush handle and won’t stay in place. The brush is a lot lighter than it used to be and the bristles are so cheap now. I’m sending them back and looking for a more quality brush!

Perfect for sculpting and styling
I got one of these brushes from a stylist several years ago and have been buying them ever since. They are perfect for my long, fine, straight hair and I think they would work for other types of hair, as well.

Poor quality
I've loved these brushes for years but the quality has diminished. After using the new one for two days, the brush is already pulling away from the base.

I bought this brush for its static free description but it is not anti static on my hair. On the contrary it creates static in my hair that wasn’t there before. Perhaps it’s only designed for certain hair types. Very disappointed.
