it's a light weight fingering, so the yardage really is optimal. for one skein this is on the pricey side, but the brand has a reptuation of being of quality, so at least there's that. it is acrylic, but it's still so soft. and this color is, hard to describe, but it almost shimmers in the sunlight. love love love it. looking forward to working this up with something a little more hearty to really see the drape and contrast, and give this a lacey effect.

This yarn is very thin. It's about 1/16" wide. Many people would call it a thread. For me, it crochets most easily with a 2.75 mm crochet hook, but your mileage may vary. The yarn is very soft to the touch. However, at this price point, I'd expect a natural fiber rather than acrylic. Dusty Powder is a lovely low-saturation lilac color. The label recommends handwashing and drying flat. Yarn is made in Turkey.

OK, you need more than one skein to make a blanket, and it's going to be very light. One skein will make a rectangle 15" x 24" of the pattern I took a picture of. It's a regular "V" stitch, and I used an 'E' size crochet hook. I think if I wanted to make a full sized blanket, I'd need 6-8 skeins. I think this is more for smaller things though. But my kitties just got a new blanket to lay on. The texture is soft, but it's a little more cord-like than fuzzy yarn-like. I do like this, and it's $6 per skein, which isn't bad. I got the Dusty Powder color, and it's a pale purple with a pearly sheen.

I’ve been wanting to try Alize brand yarn for a while now because it’s always mentioned in the patterns from one of the crochet designers I purchase patterns from. So far, I’m not disappointed at all! The color I chose is a GORGEOUS dusty purple, and it’s honestly way softer than I expected. Definitely one of the softer yarns I’ve purchased so far in my short crocheting journey. It’s definitely a light weight yarn, but you do get a good amount in your skein. It also doesn’t seem like it will unravel every time you pick it up, which is great. For crocheting, the label recommends a 1-3 mm hook, but this is of course up to you. Once I use it for a project, I’ll add more pictures!

This fingering weight acrylic yarn is so soft and nicely spun that it does feel like silk. It is the nicest acrylic yarn I’ve ever seen. It is made in Turkey and is OEKO-TEX certified for being tested for harmful substances.
