Great series
I couldn’t put the series down. Nora, Patch and all the characters in between kept me glued to the pages as one issue after another kept in the way of Nora and Patches love and the welfare of the nephilim and fallen angel race.Hush HushI wasnt sure what to think when starting this story. It’s not your usual fallen angel romance. Yes there is intrigue, romance, dark broody boys, naive good girl... but how the story flows of the angel race and their rules is definitely not anything like I’ve heard of. It makes the story more out of the box then usual. I think Nora definitely had a lot of growing to do That I hope to see in the rest of the series.CrescendoThis story has made me frustrated throughout. I so wanted Nora to be stronger. Make her claim and prove she’s worth it for Patch and I wanted Patch to quit screwing around. Their secrets became a big wedge between them. And Nora seemed to get herself into tricky situations that she easily could have avoided. Yes it sounds like something to be annoyed about, however it seemed to give these characters more time to evaluate their relationship, what they wanted, and learn about themselves. They had growth in their relationship but now needed to grow as individuals.SilenceSilence seemed to show us a lot of behind the scenes with Nora, her past, Patch’s past, and the nephilim future roles. With Boras memory loss, she has to play catch up while trying to brace for an uncertain future. And Patch was as usual, keeping secrets that frustrated me. It’s like he hadn’t learned anything from before. Nora proves herself to be strong, capable and smart in most respects. Her character grew a lot in this one but we were left on an impossible journey ahead.FinaleI couldn’t put this series down. Nora and Patch has plenty of ups and downs but the last installment seemed to make us constantly think the ending would never come or if and when it did, it wouldn’t be a good outcome. Nora and Patch have their moments, but their love was strong, even while their futures were unstable. With oaths that are unbreakable, and forces beyond their control trying to start war, they hit obstacles along the way that make them come out stronger in the end. I loved their story and can’t wait to read more from this author.

Great book series!
I am a total bookworm I love to read, my mom showed me this book series and it took me about 3 days to read. It was very intriguing and a total page turner! The only thing is that I didn't like the third book to much because I thought the main character complained to much but I totally love how the series ended!! The ending was not what I predicted, but it was a lot better!! If you are looking for a new good series to read, I recommend and give it five stars!!

Great book
It's the best series ever. I haven't read this series in a long time, and it's like I read them for the first time.

Favorite
These books will forever by my favorite and a standard to anything I read? Is that a bad thing? Read them when I was in middle school and still re reading them as an adult. The drama and tension start page one. The writing is excellent and digestible . Love all four books almost equally which is hard to do.

addicting from start to finish
I had hesitated in picking up these books due to a number of negative reviews written on just the FIRST book in the series: Hush, Hush. However, I'm really glad I took the leap and purchased this "omnibus edition" of all four books in one, because one thing that I think is important to note is that the while the first book had some lukewarm reception by some Amazon reviewers, the series as a whole was generally well written with an engaging storyline and memorable characters. The author also knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. I couldn't put it down from start to finish. What I liked:1. No obvious foreshadowing - I hate it when you can guess what's going to happen or figure out a mystery before a character does. One thing that I loved about Hush, Hush is that this wasn't the case. Often times the author kept me guessing until the twist was revealed and I loved that about this story. Every book had some kind of mystery that needed to be solved and the author kept me guessing.2. Great character development - I might get flamed for this. But I loved watching how Patch & Nora's relationship develops from start to end in this series of books. My interpretation of their relationshop is more one of redemption. Patch starts out as the worst kind of bad news you could ask for. Superficial things like his hot body and pretty face seem to be his ONLY redeeming qualities. However Nora senses something else below the surface that he is adamant to keep hidden with the bad boy facade. Despite the warning bells her intuition is giving her to stay away, she continues to pursue him. A relationship that starts on more of a physical level (at least for Nora) develops significantly throughout all four books. A more tangible love begins to awaken as Nora helps Patch pull out of his cycle of self-destruction and helps him realize that he's worthy of love and redemption.3. Great storytelling - I felt the pacing and descriptive storytelling was very well done. The flow of the story felt natural and easy to read. It didn't feel rushed and was easy to follow. So why four stars? There were some big plot devices in books 3 and 4 that I felt were contrived. In addition, Nora does some things in the last book that were very out of character, which annoyed me so much I ended up skipping pages just to get to the resolution. Despite these things, at the end of the day I have to say I still enjoyed the story and the romantic aspect of these books a great deal. It was a fun and easy read.
