Was a bit skeptical on paying ~40$ at first but bit the bullet and gave em a go. Was not disappointed as these are well put together and have definitely saved my ankles from skates digging into the upper ankle while I conditioned my feet/legs learning to inline skate. Will have to try them on ice skates but I’m pretty sure they’ll be just as useful there. Just be mindful not to over tighten while using these as the extra padding makes it’s easy to cut off blood flow.

Excellent product! My 15 year old son uses them with his hockey skates - no more ankle bone pain! They stay in place and are very comfortable. He just wears them over his socks. Pricier than others but good quality and worth it!

Mostly I use it for rollerblading, to protect my ankles; great product. Will soon ice skate with them. Comfortable and prevents blisters etc. Able to skate long hours thank to them. Highly recommended

Not normally a review writer but these have exceeded my expectations. No more pain in my ankles and I feel great support in the skate. I have a large, wide foot and it fits me perfectly.

I was actually really happy with the performance of this sleeve, the comfort was worth the price, but sadly it just didn't last long enough to to truly it (About 1-2 weeks your mileage may vary). I used this sleeve to relieve a pressure point between my inside ankle and the carbon fiber edge of my inline skates. For that, it was game changing, but after a few sweaty sessions the fabric started losing elasticity allowing the padded part to ride up and away from the pain point. Additionally, the gel pad compresses over time, I tried a hot water bath, and massaging it but that did not restore it. If this was a much lower price, I would consider it as a consumable product and I'd buy a bunch and just throw them out. I really did like it, but if it's going to cost over $40, I expect it to last a few months at least. So my feedback to the vendor, is get them to last longer, or lower the price.

Beginner ice skater who is moving onto ice hockey. Was having trouble with my ankles and boots turning inwards. Was told to tighten my laces but that didn’t help at all. Tried insoles. Didn’t work. Bought these and all of sudden I have more control than I have ever had. I think they just fill the room around my skinny ankles especially on my smaller sized foot. So yes for me. They have been helpful.

I took a bad low hit and got a nasty cut on my ankle . These allowed me to get back on the ice and kept any funny rubbing from happening, I now wear these anytime I lace up the skates

This item is probably ok for some, but as it’s one size fits all, too big for me.

Pretty good quality product, comfortable too. But i would use it only for regular ice skating rather than for more professional team hockey play. My man tried them for their hockey game and explained that it kinda stops you from doing the movement you need to be fast and more agile in your skates. So he won't be using them for hockey, but they're definitely good for more leisure winter activities to keep your ankles safe.

I was having issues with ankle bone pain in my new skates. I've tried a few other fixes with no success and figured I would give these a try. Needless to say, these seem to have fixed my issue. I would absolutely recommend these if you're having ankle bone pain.

Our son plays high-level hockey and can be on the ice six times a week. This fall, his ankle began to bother him, getting swollen and appearing bruised. After taking him to the doctor and doing some research, we discovered this product. He absolutely loves the protection. They are comfortable to wear, and he no longer has pain and swelling.
