This works and for the price I couldn't be happier. I have them all around my house.

It needs an option to TIME a privacy block.I don't need 380 security notifications on the weekend that are all me and my dogs. But I have to manually turn the privacy on and off (which I don't do out of concern that I'll forget to turn it off)Other than that, the battery life is good. The local storage is great, the cloud services are cheap and effective.

This is way overpriced. Just decent at most.

I wanted to wait a month before I reviewed the Tapo. Took me longer to mount it than to set it up, it has really nice zoning features and I like being able to choose motion, vehicle or person. The quality of the video is really good, only complaint is the voice function is a little weak. With the solar panel I have not come close to having to take it down to charge. It’s an exceptional value for the price.
