I Like the box. It’s Extra Large so my cats can move in it and pick their spot. Easy to clean. The sides and back are high enough so the litter doesn’t get thrown out. It is a little heavier than the XL plastic box I also have. The little step or lip at the front is never used by my cats. They always jump/step over it so they do have litter on their feet when they leave the box. It has the four rubber discs that you stick on the bottom so the box doesn’t move, that works well. However, since I wash the box regularly, the discs have moved so I can see them coming off in time. I don’t know how well the box will stay in place without the round rubber disc, but I guess having them on a rubber mat may help.

We adopted our first kitten a couple months ago and quickly upgraded her to this litter box. She is growing fast so we wanted something roomy she would feel comfortable in for quite a while. I think having a big box with a door of her own made her feel more confident and like our home was hers more quickly. We keep this in the living room and it isn’t too much of an eyesore with the enclosure, even though it’s spacious. The lid doesn’t deter her from using it at all. We also like that way less litter tracks than her previous box, because of the high walls and the little step in the front. The step has holes in it so the litter falls back in the box when they jump out. We have had zero problems with leakage. The lid and door were quick to assemble. It’s lightweight and easy to clean. Well worth the price.

I swear this litter box saved my cat's life.(Sarcasm) But seriously, I was having issues with my cat hanging her bottom over the edge and her urine going completely out of the box and onto the floor. It was very aggravating bc she would get inside the box to go potty, but it wasn't deep enough to keep her urine in the box. I later bought a $600+ auto litter box just for her to continue to pee out of it. I returned the auto litter box and came on here to search for a deep litter box, I don't mind scooping, I just want something that she'll use and keep her all waste INSIDE the box. And boy this box hasn't disappointed yet!! No urine leaks out of the sides if she pees a bit high, it's just perfect. I don't usually write reviews but this box deserves more than 5 stars. I'm so happy with this purchase!!

Perfect litter box for messy cats! This litter box is amazing! Let me tell you, my cat likes to dig to China. She was always throwing litter outside the box. And because it was a normal plastic litter box, she could jump over the sides. It seemed no matter how many mats or rugs I would put down, she would still have litter sprinkled all over the floor. I was constantly cleaning up after her. And, with her urine clumps, with the litter, those clumps would stick like glue to the plastic box. And before you criticize and think that don’t clean her box daily, you are dead wrong. I scoop the box daily, but my cat seems to favor the same exact corner each time for urinating. So I would always have these big chunks practically glued to the bottom of the box, making cleaning more difficult. This box changes all that. No clumps sticking to the box. And with the high sides, she no longer jumps over the sides. It has been 5 days so far of super easy scooping and zero litter all over the floor of my guest bathroom. If you have messy cats, this box will change your life!

I’m happy, little girl is happy. Over 50 $ for this litter box but it’s probably going to be worth it …hopefully. The tall detachable surround is plastic but offers real protection from leaks and the litter she likes to sling everywhere. It’s a concern that the litter pan will outlive the moderately thin plastic surround though. I’m hoping the stainless steel pan will live up to the hype of guarding against leaks and odor. So far it’s been great. Also, It arrived in perfect condition (no dents or cracks) which seems to have been an issue for some others. Only 4 stars because the concerns over the plastic surround.
