A bit of a struggle but we'll worth it.
Excellent product! Was not an easy installation at first. Warmed them in the bathtub and then realized the self rollers attatched to the wheels were in the way. After removing the rollers, I still struggled to install them. Then I read a review on a similar product. It said to boil them in a pot on the stove weighted down, for about 10 min. So I did that. One tire at a time. Mere minutes and the tire was on. I had to use a tiny flat head to get part of each tire to seat properly. But was pretty simple after that. Had to use a few of my own zip ties in the struggles but was well worth it. Looks really good on the wheel chair and rolls so much smoother.

Hard to install, but worth the effort.
These are an exact fit with lots of effort to put them on. I tried installing these straight out of the box. Forget it. It is almost impossible to put these tires on if you don't boil them first. Put them in a pot, weight them down, and remove them after about 10 minutes. They will be hot, but they cool off fast enough that you can handle them and stay hot enough they can stretch over the wheels. My hands have gotten weaker over the years, so it was hard to get the tires to seat. I took a rubber mallet and beat them into submission :) until they seated. That was easier than manipulating them by hand. I just hit the edge of the tire until it popped into place. These are definitely worth the price and effort.

Exactly what I needed.
The fit was perfect, great quality and it definitely helped the functionality It is a bit difficult to get on, but you want that snug fit so that it will work properly. My mother was very appreciative to have her wheelchair working again. Thank you for your thorough description of the product.

Quality replacement but certainly not easy to install.
The quality seems fine and once installed, they fit perfectly, but installation is challenging to say the least. The product installation video makes it look deceivingly simple but I'm sure that tire had been pre-stretched. You'll probably need a lot more nylon zip ties than are included in the kit since they break easily. However, I found it much easier to use a pair of cheap bar / trigger clamps to hold the tire to the rim while stretching it on and repositioning them as I worked my way around the rim. Even then it was anything but easy and took about an hour to do both wheels.

Really great tires and quick installation
Great product and quality. The great thing is that the tool comes with it! So, read all the reviews before I purchased the tires. Actually was not so bad to install them. Yes, you have to have some muscle to get that last bit of tire on. Nevertheless, it went smoothly using the zip ties that come with it. (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXTRA ZIP TIES) I boiled the tires for 20 mins in boiling water. Used a large pot and then placed a smaller pot with water to weigh it down some. Not all the way so that it wouldn’t touch the bottom of the pot. This was to avoid it burning the rubber. After the water came to a boiling point. I took the pot off the burner. The trick was…. I let it sit for a total of 25mins once the water reached boiling point. After doing this it took all of 5 minutes to put the tires back on. Make sure you have extra zip ties and somebody to help you keep the wheel stable. I placed the zip ties every 12” inches. This technique worked great for me. Take note; This is not a one person job.

Good quality, difficult to install
The replacement tires were for a wheelchair which had cracked and split entirely because of dry rot. The size and quality was as ordered and eventually the wheelchair and newly installed tires were functional after installation was complete. Unfortunately, after following the explicit directions, it was quite impossible to install at home with the tools provided in the kit (we resorted to trying a few additional zip ties from our personal toolbox) After struggling unsuccessfully, the wheelchair and the replacement tires were loaded into our vehicle and taken to the local auto and tire shop, where these very kind mechanics had the tires installed quickly and correctly. They didn't even charge us! It's not what you know, but in this case, who one knows with strength, the best tools and proper tire installation equipment! Plus, the mechanics were locals and the business veteran owned...so we're grateful for their services! We would buy said tires again and were pleased with information, details and specifications provided by the seller... but the installation of purchased tires for this particular wheelchair required a very experienced and extremely strong individual(possibly even 2 people-1 as an assistant)
