Parents and kids love this book. It's colorful and gives shorter stories that keep the kids attention.

My Lutheran church gives these to newly baptized babies and kids. We like to read short sections at night. Highly recommend.

The stories are short enough to not be boring and they keep the kids' attention. The pictures are bright and colourful. The people are depicted as they should be, not white-washed. We bought this for a kindergartener based on the recommendation of our pastor. He's old enough to read it by himself and loves find the mascot in each story.

I think the artwork is great - it stays relevant to the scripture and the kids like it (especially when combined with Sparkhouse Online coloring sheets and activities).The text is short and sweet which is helpful when reading to younger kids, however, this story Bible takes some big liberties with certain stories.The best example I have is the birth of Jesus - part of the story speaks of how handsome Joseph and, in my opinion, really steers in an odd tangent from the actual story.Most stories are fine, but there are occasional embellishments non-pertinent information thrown in, what appears to be, random spots.Overall I'd recommend the Spark Story Bible to leaders (or guardians) of very young kids, as well as anyone who is using SparkHouse Online. Perfect for our younger ages in Sunday School. We read the Bible story, talk about it with the kids, then do a craft or activity based on the story.

Loving exploring the Bible with my toddler using this book! The illustrations are fabulous and the stories are short enough to keep his attention. I like the questions at the end of each story to help make conversation.

This Bible has great pictures and specific common Bible stories. Love it ! We use it in our children’s ministry and as new baby gifts.

Great grandson aged 5 demands story from this bible every night! He loves the stories and pictures, I love the theological correctness of this paraphrase.

Just what I expected

The pictures are great for my 3.5 year old. The stories aren't too long. The only negative is that some pages have too much writing and it would have been better to move some text with to another page.
