Q: The glue dots for grip, are they soft and actually grip things or are they hard dots giving no help gripping.

They are a softer, rubbery like material and definitely help with grip. If not for those things there would be A LOT of shattered glasses around here. They are also not intrusive either, bought them for my boyfriend who is a fine art painter and do not impede his work at all. He wears them all the time, even when not painting and he hates gloves usually. Lol Hope this helps!

Q: Medium is far too small. I need to return these new gloves and get large size instead. Please advise?

My gloves fit tight which relieves my aching joints. If you feel your gloves cut your circulation off then return them for the next size up.

I don't have pain in the joints not covered by the gloves.

Q: Do you wash these in cold water and then air dry?

I think that is the instruction; however, in this case I don't do well with the instruction. Because I have a tumble washer, I just throw them in with regular wash on a warm, cool or cold cycle. Then If I notice or remember, I take them out before the dryer and let them air dryer; otherwise they go thru the dryer, which is usually a moderate or damp dry temperature. They are a tight compression fit, so probably better not to go thru a dry session. I am a senior and I am not anticipating returning them, so I do not worry about these details.
