I got the smaller size by accident, which is fine as it will help me with the feeding sizes. I used to use normal ceramic bowls that was from IKEA. The base doesn't fit as snug as I had hoped though, there is movement slightly in the feeder and it's wooden base. Overall its cute and looks great, I hope it helps as I have a food-binger cat and a "I don't eat when stressed" cat. Not yet been able to fully test as my cats have not moved to the apartment, but as per my point of view - good enough and cute in my space.

Exactly as the pictures show. The slow feeder aspect is nice - it seems to have encouraged our cats to eat slower and space out eating. No fighting between two cats to get to the food and it’s big enough that they share this (I use it for dry food only). If it’s hard for anyone to clean, it’s been helpful to use a brush rather than a sponge and I’ve simply washed it with my other dishes. The ceramic is great too because it is easy to clean and keeps chin acne away. The flat surface (not much depth) prevents whisker sensitivity, as well, if you have that issue with normal bowls. My one cat loves to knock food off of plates so I just put a mat underneath. Very sturdy and functional - I’ve had this for a year now very much worth the purchase.

I am so happy with this Ceramic Cat Feeder! This slow-feed bowl is a great solution for my cat, who tends to eat too quickly. This cat food bowl is very well made. It's made out of some type of ceramic - like a coffee cup - and it is very easy to clean. M vet says plastic is not good for food and water bowls, so I am glad this one is made like a coffee cup and not a plastic bowl. But there is a downside. My cat is a very fast eater and this dish didn't slow her down all that much. The fish bones are too shallow, they need to be raised higher so it would be more of an effort to get at the food, thereby slowing down my cat's eating. That's my biggest gripe with this bowl. I ended up just feeding her less at each feeding and spreading it out more around the dish - but then I have to feed her a couple of more times throughout the day then I did prior to getting this dish. But the design does help as long as I feed her less and spread it out more. Also I feel the dish's stand is a bit too low - it's only a couple of inches off the ground, it should probably be a little higher. Although the food sits at the same level as her old bowl - I think it would more comfortable if this dish was a bit higher than. All in all it's a nice dish at a good price and it does help a little with Twizzler's speed eating habits to some extent.
