if you READ SELLER'S DIRECTIONS, you have no way of regretting this purchase.
This was revolutionary for me! I have been in this hobby over 2 decades. Never have I seen a customizable lid like this, and if cut properly, you can raise one side to feed or take the entire mesh off after install. READ BOTH SELLER INSTRUCTIONS 2x CAREFULLY before cutting. The paper copy is the same as what's in the listing details. Be slow, and compare with the pictures. I found that I can even reduce trickle noise by allowing the mesh to go under the lip of the hang on back filter. Never will I go back to acrylic or premade lids. This is perfect for any square or rectangle, fits any kind of media, and it will last forever at an affordable price. It is easy to install, but you need to be able to follow directions and use a little critical thinking. I don't know if the mesh is measured for each customer, but I must've received 2.5' by 4' at minimum. This is only a 20 gallon, and I have tons of leftover magnet material also. I chose to follow the instructions for the strongest hold to protect fish that might jump. It is perfect! It has just enough cling strength to provide protection, but not so much that it's hard to lift while feeding.

Pretty good!
This took me about 45 minutes, mostly using my very meager girly strength to try to clip the plastic into the rubber snappy part. However, this looks great and was easy to install. The only issue i had was the side clips were hard for me to snap in but i got it working. Two notes, the "leave a small gap" instruction is to fit in the very top plastic where it needs to snap down. just look at how wide it is and leave that much. I had to do a little extra trimming but that was easy to do. Also, dont lose the little square snaps! they are essential to getting it nice and tight and not all loosey goosey like some of the other reviews had. There was plenty to cover my 29 gallon and enough left to do my 5 gallon hospital tank as well. :) My one worry is that i have a bit of splashing up from an air stone, it may get gross quick.... but thats a problem for another day and the netting seems easy to replace.

Magnets ≠ Water
The installation was fine and it works great if you have a low maintenance system. Magnets can be tough to reconnect which can cause you to drop one side into the tank. Magnets and water do not mix, especially when housing life. Only usable once too. Use egg crate or a custom made top for a permanent lid

Great!
Works great! Comes in a big sheet of mesh and a long roll of tracks and magnets. You trim to size. Everything holds very well. The tracks that hold the mesh hold up really well. It's hard to push it together sometimes, but it means it holds up better. It doesn't say after it's been made which is awesome. My only wish is that it came with extra corners in the larger size. I have a breeder tank so it's long and has two openings instead of one long one. The support in the center breaks it up. So there's little corner pieces and I wish they would send 8 for larger sizes because larger tanks typically have a center brace which gives you two top openings versus smaller tanks have one single opening. Other than that this is a great product and I recommend it. Seller packaged it really well and shipping was on time.

Works, easy to assemble, looks surprisingly nice
This turned out a lot less ugly than I thought it would be. It's not beautiful, but if I'd paid $20 for the finished product, I'd have been pleasantly surprised. It was a fun silly little fish project. I needed a hood, but I don't like the look of them and I have an overhead light that I didn't want to replace. This is NOT suited for other animals. If I'd used this for my baby corn snake's tank, she'd escape right away. Fish only. This is not a cheaper substitute for a proper reptile tank lid and would be very unsafe. It wasn't hard to put together - the instructions aren't entirely useless, but I think clearer photos/no text would be an improvement. It's the kind of instruction sheet you either puzzle over for an hour or say "huh, okay" and forget about. I took the latter route, it's pretty straightforward. I cut all the pieces out, stuck the magnetic strips down on the tank edge, stuck the grooved strip on top, and put the corner brackets on the top strip before holding the netting tightly and smushing it all together. I cut a slit in one corner for the heater cord, and a slit along the back edge for the filter when I was done, and the netting didn't sag and fall in like I'd worried it would. The option for putting the magnetic strip around the side is a nice idea, but sounds like it would be a pain to get in and out the tank for water changes, moving things, etc., and the way they suggest to make a little door just looks a bit flimsy and off. I wouldn't recommend this for a rimless tank. The holes in the net are small enough (about 4mm - maybe the O on your keyboard?) to keep my adventurous guppies inside their liquid where they belong, but they're big enough that I don't need to lift the lid to feed them. They won't get stuck when they jump. The netting is pretty strong, it's not flimsy. It's a nice material. I was also surprised by just how much there was. I have a 20 gallon long tank, and I'd looked at the measurements listed and thought "eh, sure, that sounds like enough!" and I easily have enough to do another tank. I used a boxcutter to cut the edges as close as I could, but the very edge of the netting is visible, and it's obvious that it's multiple strips stuck onto a magnet. That's my only complaint. It'd be nice if there was some kind of finishing strip to hide the edges, but I paid like $15 for this on Prime day, so I'm keeping it and it gets 4 stars.

Easy to use and overall Awsome.
Very easy to install, magnets are strong enough, quality is nice for the price. Some of the bad reviews don’t make sense on this product. It’s pretty straightforward to install and sticks very well if you clean the areas you are putting them on properly. Anyways, 10/10 product, definitely buying again in the future.

Not user friendly
Most tedious and anti user friendly netting top for a fish tank. If you are a beginner like myself this isn't for you. I will be shopping around for another top

Great!
Incredibly easy to set up. The magnets are extremely strong and even hold up when I have my automatic feeder hooked to it. No flying shrimp out of this tank! You can even cut the holes bigger to fit your pump, bubble, heater, or any accessories the require a plug. Definitely worth the cost.

Es ist etwas Fingerfertigkeit erforderlich. Da mein Becken mit 2 Seiten an der Wand steht

The idea is good, the magnet is good, but because of the plastic part, it is unusable, the plastic cannot be the soft type, very difficult to assemble, after a struggle and assembling it, the frame is arched and flimsy, I wasted this money

Oh heck yes! Lost another fish this morning. Lid is now on the non jumper tank! Super easy set up works amazing. Easily fits over cords for wave makers and heaters!

Does a gd job at keeping the fish in. A bit finicky to set up though.
