Can one give ten stars?? This is an IDEAL antenna for POTA. I love it! I loathe trying to put antennas into trees (that won't be at an optimal height anyway) and have had bad luck with the FAR more expensive transmitting loops. This antenna is inexpensive, easy to set up, well constructed, very compact and light weight (I took it on trip to Greek islands and had a blast), and just works. It takes about two minutes to set up . . . five if I have to untangle the radials. I also purchased some additions - a metallic ground cloth (that may or may not help the radial situation - I put that into the "can't hurt" category) and a small tripod for when I can't use the stake. I also picked up an inexpensive 18-foot whip so that I don't have to use the coil (that I now use only for 30M and 40M). It appears to work very well. With 20 watts (that seems to be the sweet spot for POTA activation - gets out on SSB but doesn't require a big battery) and this antenna, I regularly work across the country and the world. I've had some nice SSB chats from the field with hams in Europe - even busted into a few pile-ups while working the CQ SSB DX contest from a park in Delaware. Downsides - one has to adjust the length when one changes bands . . . but how often does one change bands during a POTA operation anyway. Band adjustment, particularly using the 18-foot whip and no coil is simple - convert the meter band to feet, divide by four, then pace off the length with my one-foot long foot. Easy peasy!! Once one gets it dialed-in, 40M operation with the coil is easy to set up and also works. Needless to say, I highly recommend this antenna, particularly for portable operation.

This antenna sets up easily, low SWR, and gets out. I've been using it to activate Parks very successfully and love the quick setup and quick tear down and portability.

This is PERFECT for POTA!! It was extremely easy to put together and packages up nice and small with a nice case for it. Super light. It tuned up to 10m without the compensator and tuned up 20 well with it. Just 5W and putting this together in the backyard yielded contacts in less than 10 minutes. It looks to be high quality and feels like it’s going to be durable. It is very light, so I’m sure there might be some a give and take somewhere. Overall, this is gonna be a great addition to my POTA kit and I’m sure it’ll work great for anything else. Comes with everything you need except for coax.

My main interest is an antenna for 40 meters that was easy to set up. This fills the need. It took a bit of fiddling to get good setting for most other bands. 10 meters is giving me some grief at this time.

I'm sure the antenna is great except as soon as I went to extend the telescopic antenna, it literally fell apart before I could even extend it. It seems like the little tabs that hold the telescopic sections from coming apart were missing in at least one or two sections. This is a little concerning from a quality control standpoint. *UPDATE* Seller promptly issued a refund and exchange, seems like this was a crimping error in the telescopic section. All other components are great.
