Awesome illustrations and perfect for kids Well enjoyed with the story line

I recently read the "Jurassic Park Little Golden Book" to my 4-year-old who is an absolute dinosaur enthusiast. This book serves as a fantastic child-friendly version of the classic tale. The illustrations are captivating, and the narrative is just right for young minds. However, I did notice an inconsistency - the inclusion of pterodactyls, which, as far as I recall, weren't in the original Jurassic Park movie. That said, the book's overall quality is good.

We bought a number of little golden book versions of pop-culture classic movies for my Son's 4th birthday. He loves them. In the case of Back to The Future and Ghostbusters he was already intimately familiar with, and a big fan of the movies before the books, but of course he had not seen Jurassic park... After reading this book a few times he pleaded to be allowed to watch the movie... We told him it was too scary... but he insisted and we caved... It's now his favorite movie and he asks to watch it all the time.

Cute little book with a sweet, easy to read story cut down well from the film. Book very flimsy and looks as if it may break, however I can't complain as it was very cheap.

This book is great for children. It isnt too long, there aren't a huge amount of words per page and it isnt scary. It's exactly as all children's books would normally be. It explains the story clearly and goes through it at a more rapid pace than a book aimed at an older child/adult. You can tell from the front of the book that it isnt aimed at teenagers, who are capable of reading regular books. Look at the pages I have taken pictures of for reference. Surely if your child is at a higher reading level then they can read the original book by Michael Crichton? I am in the middle of it right now and it is amazing! Anyway, my 6 year old was excited to get this and is reading through it right now!

Having not seen Jurassic Park for years, I was looking forward to reading this to my son. Sadly, the book made little sense. It introduced a lot of characters - by name only - very quickly then referred to them throughout the book with no further context. My son is only four but I find he likes to understand characters and know a little bit about them in order to properly engaged with a story. Jurassic Park is a great film but I felt this adaption really didn’t capture its essence or excitement. Such a shame as the illustrations are lovely.

My 2 year old and 5 year old girls are both dinosaur mad at the moment due to the new Jurassic World Netflix show. I read this book to them the last couple of nights and although it is short, it is perfect to keep both of their attentions. I am so confused at some of these bad reviews this book is for small children why are grown adults expecting it to be for them. I actually had to laugh at the person who took a video because they couldn't get the book to stay open with one hand, even my 2 year old knows to use two hands to keep a book open... Anyways, overall recommend to anyone with small children who love Jurassic park and dinosaurs. Adults should just read the original book by Michael Crichton.

This is such a lovely little book for dinosaur fans. The quality is great with a hardboard cover as is usually the case with Little Golden Books. The pages have some really cool illustrations, and although the story has been massively edited down to make it a suitable length for children you still get a good sense of the main plot lines. Our little boy was desperate to watch the movie but isn’t ready for velociraptors in the kitchen just yet, so this has been a lovely little treat so he doesn’t feel like he’s missing out!

I decided to use Little Golden Books as party favors for my child’s birthday party, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made! Instead of handing out the usual plastic trinkets that end up lost or tossed, each child went home with a classic storybook—and the response was amazing. The price was incredibly reasonable, especially when buying in bulk. For just a little more than typical party favors, we gave something meaningful, lasting, and educational. The kids were excited to pick out their own book, and the parents were just as thrilled—many of them commented on how refreshing it was to receive something they could actually read and enjoy with their child. The books themselves are timeless. The illustrations are charming, the stories are sweet and age-appropriate, and they make a lovely keepsake from the party. It felt good to give something that encourages reading and imagination, rather than more clutter. If you’re planning a party and want a favor that’s thoughtful, affordable, and genuinely appreciated, I highly recommend using Little Golden Books. It’s a small touch that made a big impression—and I’ll definitely be doing it again!

Absolutely love it, but I should have realised the story is still a little too scary for my 5 year old. Maybe when she's 2 or 3 years older (and less nightmares).

If you have a budding paleontologist or dinosaur fanatic at home, this charming book is an absolute must!

Chi ama i film della saga di Spielberg, non può non avere questo libretto nella sua collezione. Piccolo, corto ma molto carino, presenta la storia del film nei suoi punti essenziali tralasciando le parti più "spaventose" ...il tutto accompagnato da illustrazioni splendide che lasciano quel tocco di nostalgia negli adulti e divertono molto i più piccoli. È scritto in inglese ma in modo abbastanza semplice, il che rende la lettura molto scorrevole anche per i bambini. Consigliatissimo!
