A Curl’s Best Friend: Defying Frizz with Gentle Hydration
The Curlsmith Frizz Control Cleanser has truly been a revelation for my hair care routine. As someone with curls that tend to have a mind of their own, especially when it comes to frizz, finding a product that tames without stripping away essential moisture has been a persistent challenge. This shampoo hits the sweet spot, delivering a hydrating cleanse that not only removes dirt and impurities but also leaves my hair feeling exceptionally soft and manageable. The peace of mind that comes with knowing it's safe for my colour-treated hair and designed for all curl types is the cherry on top of a very satisfying user experience. Diving into the 'magic' behind this cleanser, the blend of blackcurrant seed oil and coconut butter is nothing short of alchemy for frizz-prone hair. The omega-rich formulation locks in moisture effectively, and the light film it forms seals cuticles to combat frizz. The first time I used it, I was sceptical, but any doubts were washed away along with the frizz. My curls were not only defined but had a noticeable shine and softness that I hadn't seen with other products. What sets Curlsmith apart, in my opinion, is their commitment to ingredient integrity, blending nature and science to create something truly beneficial for curly hair. There's a comforting transparency in knowing there are no sulphates, silicones, mineral oils, or phthalates lurking in the bottle. Being Curly Girl friendly, vegan, and cruelty-free adds to the appeal, aligning with my personal values. The proof, as they say, is indeed in the pudding—or in this case, the cascading curls that frame my face with significantly reduced frizz. It's a stellar product that delivers, and my curls couldn't be happier! Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Friss Away
My partner has naturally wavy hair and with some work it can either be straightened or curly. When going through a curly phase it is best to use products that are designed for it. They treat the hair and make it more springy, but can be wet looking or too dry. If you suffer from drier hair you can end up with plenty of curls, but also a lot of frizz. Curlsmith have come out with a range of 'Frizz Rescue' products designed to allow the curls to shine and not have small curls on the curls. You will need to try a few of the products and see how they fit in with your regime the best. We tried the shampoo and the gel, both encouraged curls and plenty of bounce. The shampoo worked better for us as adding the gel felt a little greasy. If you have dry hair, it may be the perfect solution. The Curlsmith range is not cheap, but if you are serious about cultivating your curls, they are far better at getting them to appear and stay than using conventional shampoo etc and tongs. It can be pricy, but the range is worth investigating for the curl manic.

Overall a good shampoo, love the sulphate free formula.
This Curlsmith Frizz Control shampoo is a great choice for all curly hair types. The scent is lovely and fresh, setting a positive tone for the experience. Only a small amount of this shampoo is needed per application, making it efficient. It excels at removing product buildup, ensuring a thorough cleanse. For £22 (at the time of writing), it may be on the premium side in terms of cost, however, the sulphate-free formula and the inclusion of promising ingredients like black currant seed oil, coconut butter, and argan oil make it a worthwhile investment. The 355 ml packaging is practical, though a pump bottle would have been more convenient. This shampoo creates a good lather and easily spreads through your hair, leaving it soft and fresh without any greasy residue. Overall, this shampoo provides a gentle and hydrating clean, leaving your hair in a soft, manageable, and primed state for styling.

An absolutely great shampoo.
This shampoo is fantastic. It won't irritate my scalp (many shampoos do) and it leaves my hair clean without stripping it if its natural oils. For reference I have very thick, shoulder length, 2c and very unruly hair. This has a lovely scent to it and it lathers up really well. I use twice so that it has a chance of properly removing any products I might have in my hair and it does a great job.

A decent shampoo
Lovely fragrance, and very nice to use. Bubbles nicely and not much was needed to was all of my partners' hair. Washing out was simple enough, and there were no stubborn lumps or bubbles that wouldn't wash out naturally with running water. Hair felt clean and looked great, not sure about the frizz factor entirely, but the fair was much more straight than normal before needing a straightener.

Smells nice and washes well 😀 but too pricey! 💷
I have natural afro hair but it's very curly and quite long. I ordered this shampoo as it claims to control frizz. 💆🏾♀️ Because of my hair type, I have to put afro hair products in my hair daily, and this can cause build-up in my hair. This means that I sometimes have to do more than one shampoo wash, depending on the shampoo. With this shampoo, I only had to do one lot of shampooing. It appeared to cut through the product build-up well on the first wash. I also didn't have to use too much of it to give my hair a good wash. The shampoo suds well and smells lovely. I've got eczema and get it on my scalp sometimes so I have to be very careful about what I use. So far it hasn't caused me any irritation, which is good. It's too early days for me to comment on if it helps to control frizz but it seems like nice shampoo. The reason why I've dropped a star is that I think it's quite expensive. At the time of writing this review, it's £22. The bottle is only 355ml too. It is very small for the price. I can't justify spending that much on a small bottle of shampoo. It's nice but I don't think it's worth that amount of money. I know that some people won't mind though, so this would be perfect for them. It would have to be a much bigger bottle for me to spend that. 🙃

Since turning gray, my hair has gotten curly and frizzy in places. I also have severe allergies to so many products. But, I started using Curl Smith products last year and ordered this shampoo recently along with the conditioner. I have been extremely pleased with the results and I haven’t had any issues with blisters breaking out on my scalp!! My hair condition has improved.

Der Push Button lässt sich nicht runterdrücken da die Kappe eine delle hat. Muss nun die ganze kappe aufmachen um ans shampoo zu kommen, was die dosierung erschwert
