Good starter set
Great starter embroidery set. The hoops come in different sizes for different projects, which is nice. Intuitive use. Holds fabric taut. Would recommend.

Good quality for reasonable price
As described. Easy to tighten and loosen screws, has a ridge on inside hoop that fits into notch in outer hoop to hold fabric better, and seems sturdy. I have used the 4 inch size for two pieces so far and the fabric stays taut and doesn't get looser over time when stitching.

Excellent for the Price
I don't have any previous experience with plastic hoops, having always used wood in the past. These appear to be a pretty good deal, especially for the price. 6 Hoops of various sizes and the screw mechanisms are of sufficient quality. The plastic/vinyl of the hoop itself feels a little cheap but I have no evidence to justify my opinion. They work. That's what is really important.

You get what you pay for, they work though :)
So I think you get what you pay for. Maybe I should have gotten wooden ones or something because I feel like I can’t get the fabric taut enough because it moves when im working on a piece regardless of how tight it is and what fabric im using. You have a great selection of sizes with these though so that’s good because I mostly do small embroidered faces with these.

not bad thought they were bamboo

I don't know why, I thought these were wood and they're not. That's on me. But since they're not wood, they're really flimsy and hard to get fabric to stay where you want bc the plastic material is so slippery. They do work, but I wouldn't buy them again.
