Switched to this from Arden grange small dogs… much better for an older dog missing a few teeth.

i have tried others but keep coming back to Royal Canin. They are so specific in how they tailor food to aging pets (or puppies!). It smells inviting and has variopus sizes of kibble so that your dog can find one that suits. The small kibble is great for my elderly terrier with slightly wobbly teeth. She has a history of leaving some dry foods, but always 'grazes' at this throughout the day. I have also tried the 8+ mature variety which has smaller cross shaped kibble, and thats great, this kibble is like an old half penny with a dimple in it so it breaks easily, i guess. Its the best kibble I have found and I'm not planning on changing any time soon. Great seller too, arrived quickly.

I kept my old dog on this food as he aged very few manufactrers make +12 yrs of age dry food. Sadly not longer with me but I do buy breed specific Persian Cat dry food also .
