I've never used a speedlight before and so I have little expectations for quality and function, but considering what I paid, I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. I needed a flash for a party that was indoor/outdoor and while I struggled to match my ISO, Aperture and shutter speed, this flash was very easy to quickly adjust once I got myself dialed in. I recently used it as a slave flash and it was flawless. The unit is solid, the buttons are easy to manage, and the indicator lights quickly let you know where you're at. I think this would be a great, economical flash unit to take when you travel, or need to add additional light without buying a bunch of expensive gear. Photos came out great for the most part. I shot for 3 hours and the batteries lasted the entire event.
