The food is great, but can exploded in carton and make a big mess. Don’t ship to Arizona during the summer

Bought this as my dog was recovering from surgery and required soft food only for a period of time. He really liked it and got excited to eat it which was great. The one drawback was it gave him the worst gas! At first I thought it was post anesthesia farts but those don’t last a week or more beyond surgery. I finally realized eating this food was giving him the smelly farts! I know everyone toots, but these farts could clear a room. I’m not sure if it was just his body that didn’t digest this super well, but the smelly farts were rough! We ended up resorting back to soaking his dry kibble and the smelly farts went away. Overall this is a good product and he loved it, just not the right fit for his digestion!
