Absolutely fantastic. Added bonus that you can watch via the app on your phone.

Struggling to get this to actually work. It has no battery, only works when power is applied. Apparently it doesn’t have a great resolution, so number plates are unreadable, which was rather the entire point! Sadly I have tried three perfectly functioning micro SD cards, all of which work in a TomTom and can be read on a PC. No matter what format is tried, the unit claims the cards are ‘unusable’ and then refuses to proceed to an actual live picture. The instructions are poor, the format of the SD card is not mentioned, but have tried 3 different format clusters and let the device format the SD cards and it still doesn’t accept them. Fairly useless as a product.

Aside from the omission of GPS, this is a fully-featured dashcam with a decent resolution which means it will actually be useful when you need it. And that doesn't always mean the very rare occasion when you are involved in an RTA - when a commercial driver feels the need to cut you up, a video clip sent to head office makes you feel a lot better about the incident! The on screen menus looks like they were created in the late 1990s, which is a bit out of character for Philips, but that is just aesthetics, and functionally this cam is intuitive to use. Automatic crash detection will save the last 3 minutes as a specially named file, and you can also manually activate this feature. The wide angle view is wide enough for the motorway. The added value features - fatigue alert and a connected app - are of no real benefit for me, but you might like them. The warranty is one year, compared to the two years that Philips products usually have, which is another black mark. Overall, this is a perfectly fine dashcam, but a bit of a disappointment by Philips standards. Their badge and their price tag should have produced something a bit more polished.

Overall, a pretty good dashcam, but it does have a few downsides: * I've not had any luck getting the Philips GoSure app on my phone (Motorola G6 Play) to connect to the dashcam. I'm not *that* bothered, to be honest - I tend to see app-based, wifi-enabled-for-the-sake-of-it features as a bit silly and I'm happy to just pop the SD card out and put it in my laptop if/when I need some footage from the camera, but I wanted to try it out for the sake of review, but unfortunately I kept just getting connection failures. * Image quality is fairly good, but not outstanding. * There appears to be no way to remove the big PHILIPS logo emblazed across your videos, which is annoying and somewhat tacky. I've uploaded an example video captured by this dashcam to illustrate the quality I get from it.

I bought this camera on the strength of a review in autoexpress. That was a mistake. Other dashcams had a string of bad reviews about poor reliability, and so I went with this one which had no amazon reviews. This camera lasted 4 car journeys before corrupting my memory card. I was met with the message "SD is abnormal. Format or Replace it", which was prefixed by audible two beeps. Before the 4th Journey, the videos could be read on a windows 10 PC without any problem. Now the memory card is not responding at all on windows 10, and attempts to format on the dashcam itself lead to the display freezing with "please wait". Previous format exercise on the dashcam went fine, but not now. I had a 32GBSanDisk Ultra MicroSDHC UHS Class 1 card (Equiv to class 10), and my efforts to recover it's function have so far failed. That matter aside, the user interface was simple and self explanatory. It's driven by push buttons, rather than touch screen but the whole appearance was very dated. It wasn't something you'd expect an international tech brand to put out in the year 2018. This had all the user interface styling from a 1995 camcorder! Pictures had the Philips logo across the top third of all videos, and I was unable to turn that off. Picture quality was very saturated and contrasty -. Quality was good enough for evidence collection if you have a collision, but not good enough to spot car reg numbers. Overall I would have been lived with it if the memory card issue wasn't a show stopper, but this thing isn't worth the advertised sticker price. It screams out "cheap" in everything except the asking price. You'll get the same quality for the no names brand picked up in the petrol station.

Easy to fit. Purchased the GPSand the rear facing camera. Had it professionally wired in so no ugly wires and wired into the OBD of my Audi. The Philips app on my iPhone is super cool to review footage live and saved. Got a 16gb memory card which is fine as it loops and rewrites over - you can save and secure footage ie after an accident or incident. My insurer has reduced my excess as I have this recognised high quality dash cam.

This is a good dash cam, though expensive - £119.95 at the time of writing. You can get one with GPS for that. On this one, you have to pay extra for the GPS module. It is good that you can add a rear camera to it. It attaches to the windscreen easily. It takes no effort setting it up at the start of a journey and removing it at the end. I encourage you to buy one (any dash cam) – they are superb as a witness. However they do not capture everything e.g. a car moving at speed in the dark in the opposite direction. I suggest you record at the maximum number of frames per second to increase the chance of being able to read a number plate.

He visto cámaras mejores por mucho menos precio. Esta no la he devuelto porque no puedo, pero ha sido un dinero malgastado.

Habe mich extra für ein Markenprodukt entschieden weil ich glaubte damit ein gutes Produkt zu erwerben. Leider ist der Support ziemlich schlecht und die Anleitung auf ein Minimum beschränkt. Zudem kann ich die Dashcam nicht mit meinem iPhone X über die zugehörige App verbinden. Wie ich ein Update für die Dashcam machen kann, erschließt sich mir auch nicht. Hat jemand eine Idee?

Prodotto di facile installazione, setup facilissimo. Scaricato il programmaa per android Philips GoSure per poter utilizzare la connessione wifi della dash cam e scopro che non è aggiornata ad android 9, dunque risulta inutillizzabile questa funzione. A mio avviso non vale il prezzo che costa in quanto riguardando le registrazioni fatte la sera, le targhe delle auto risultano illeggibili nonostante il settaggio sia alla massima qualità (1080 a 30 Frame) in hdr. Avevo una dash cam da 50E e le immaggini erano dettagliate in ogni situazione. Devo dire che se avessi saputo tutto ciò non avrei sicuramente comprato questo prodotto
