Very good quality for such a low price. Many of the reviews complained that it did not come with the box itself but my one did. I bought these for playing lacrosse and they fit very comfortably and throughout a day long tournament I hardly noticed the box there. Only used them twice so far so can't comment on durability but they feel like they're made of good material so would hope they hold up in the long run. With regards to sizing I'm roughly 5ft10 with a 33" waist and the mediums fit perfectly.

Bought to replace a much older version of SD compression shorts that were very well worn over the course of about 7 years. Material feels slightly different and of a better quality, fit is good and i'm sure will provide some level of protection when wearing a box - however these will never provide as good a fit as a dedicated protective cup. But they are no doubt useful for short sparring sessions!! I am not posting any photos of this item in order to preserve the remaining shreds of my dignity. ;)

...this item did actually come with the bioflex cup. After previous mixed comments from other buyers, I'd ordered a seperate cup but will use that one as a spare. Shorts fit great and stay in place after moving and cup protects the goods good enough for what I need.

Great shorts and protective shield great buy

Shorts fit well and compress nicely. However the cup is very narrow and doesn't fit in the pocket especially well. I ended up using a different cup than the one provided, as I wasn't confident the supplied cup would protect me.

I have been doing a full contact sport for many years(Taekwon Do) and have never liked the groin guards full stop ... This by far the best product on the market for the Martial that i do .. The shorts with a removable groin guard who would of thought it... It makes it life so much easier ....

The shorts themselves are very comfortable but would benefit from a phone pocket. The protective cup is very difficult to take in and out and is very narrow compared with otgers i have used, it just hovers away from the body due to the design of the pouch. absolutely dont wear these with underwear undernesth or you will further reduce the egonomics of the cup.

Ich habe mir die Shock Doctor Herren Suspensorium Core Compression Shorts bestellt und kann nur sagen, dass sie wie angegossen passen. Der Stoff ist von sehr hoher Qualität und fühlt sich angenehm auf der Haut an. Besonders praktisch finde ich den abnehmbaren Hodenschutz. Man hat die Flexibilität, entweder mit Schutz zu trainieren oder die Shorts einfach als Compression Shorts zu nutzen. Das ist ein großes Plus, da man somit vielseitig einsetzbar ist. Ein weiterer entscheidender Vorteil ist, dass der Hodenschutz wirklich gut sitzt. Ich habe schon Unfälle gesehen, bei denen der Schutz verrutscht ist und es zu ernsthaften Verletzungen gekommen ist. Ein Trainingspartner von mir hat genau das erlebt und musste aufgrund einer Verletzung operiert werden. Sein linker Hoden ist faustgroß angeschwollen! Dank des gut anliegenden Schutzes und des hochwertigen Materials kann ich dieses Produkt nur empfehlen. Es verdient definitiv die vollen 5 Sterne!

I have two sons 8 and 10, one taller and leaner, one shorter and more muscular we tried these, Franklin sliding shorts, Easton youth sliding shorts and Louisville Slugger shorts (all from Amazon) both my boys have a 25" waist and we tried the XL of these and they fit both boys. The waist is a good fit on them both, and the legs are looser. I am hoping the elastic will stretch a little this season so they can wear them again for baseball next year too. The packet says this fits a 28-30" waist but I think that would be a very uncomfortable fit. I measured the elastic waist band lying flat on the floor and it is 24-25" and doesn't seem to have much stretch. The best selling point for these over the other brands is the cup pocket. It is wider and easier to get the cup into, and it is sewn to curve inside the shorts and follow the shape of the cup up and around. Both my boys preferred how their cups fit and how snug they felt against them as opposed to the other shorts where the cup kind of hung down the front of the shorts. XL size came with a teen size cup which looks BIG on my 8 year old, but he can fit a wider cup there. My 10 year old who is thinner thought the teen cup was too big and is wearing a smaller cup which fit great in the pocket too.
