The stand itself is solid, the legs take a little force to pull out, but that's a good thing. Unlike others here, I found that on mine, the magnet was strong enough to hold your phone on one side, but very weak on the other, so it only operates one side. On the side where it does work, the magnet strength is really good (as good as any other Magsafe device I've had). And, more importantly, it holds the phone steady. The clip is kind of useful, but I found that the closure on it was really weak. I can push the clasp in with not much pressure of my little finger. While out on a recent trip, it was okay to clip onto my camera harness, but I found when walking, I got annoyed with it clunking against everything, so put it back in my jacket pocket. Thankfully, it's small enough to fit. So, in that respect, I found the round clip a little bit of a gimmick, it's just as easy to put these things in your pocket. It's missing things like a secondary hook on the legs, which would make it more versatile (others I've seen have this), but that's a very minor concern. For doing short videos/photos where you want an instant stand, this is ideal. Overall, solid build, the clip could be improved and only one-sided magnet. If there was a hook or way to hold your phone on a shelf/fence or similar, it would have improved the versatility of this. And the price is a little higher than some alternatives. So overall, very decent at what it does, a couple of minor points make this four rather than five stars, but it is close!

This is a perfect clamp for your phone. Being metal it is extremely sturdy and very well made. I highly recommend it.

Very well made, solid and weighty enough to hold a phone in a stable position on a flat surface. We use it to video band concerts; it is far better than trying to hold it steady in the hand. It is fine on a table, but we have not yet treied it in a camera tripod.

Fits my Google Pixel 6 perfectly. It's easy to adjust the position and stays where you put it, with lots of different ways to angle the stand. The only downside is that the tripod base is small enough that if you extend the arm to its full reach sideways it will overbalance.

Great little device, compact and light. I have two, one kept in my pocket and one in my camera bag. Useful for hands free use of the phone while on a long video call or fitting on a tripod to take long exposure pictures.

This is just so well made and tactile; I can't help unfolding and folding it again just to admire the feel and the way it folds so small. I've only used it for indoor photos at the moment but I will update after I've hopefully used it to capture the Northern Lights in Norway
