This blend makes perfect Kombucha and the taste is great. I left some in a small jar and I was astonished when it made its' own scoby in a few days without a mother. Just wish we could bring the price down. We would be willing to purchase in larger amounts if the price were less. Overall this is a great blend for Kombucha and I feel a great blend for fermentation.

I decided it would be fun to brew kombucha this summer and got a kit - and now I am absolutely hooked on it and on my 15th batch. The flavor is great, it is really easy, and satisfying in an old school type way to make kombucha for my family. We do a second ferment with some mango juice and it is so carbonated and tasty!

Update 2022: I'm not brewing as much, and I've upgraded to a continuous brewing system, but this is still my go-to tea. I tried a black tea blend a while back, and quickly moved back to this original tea blend. The taste is predictable, smooth and tastes great for kombucha. I'm new to brewing kombucha. I only just got the kombucha shop kit and am on my third batch (to be bottled today). I started by buying kombucha on tap at a local grocery store, and a couple of bottled brands. I've had mostly really good kombucha, but I occasionally run into one that has a strange hops taste that I really don't like. Not sure what it is, but this blend of tea does not have it and I really like it. The resulting brew from this blend is very smooth and well balanced. Easy to drink without any flavoring or secondary fermentation, and it also has blended well with strawberries, pineapple and mango (so far). I'm glad I started out my brewing with such a tasty blend of tea. Highly recommended.

This brand was recommended to me by a friend and it has transformed my kombucha too taste so good. It easily takes on the flavor of any fruit or herb you use. I've been using this kombucha tea for over a year and it is the only one I'll use moving forward.

Brewing your own Kombucha is soooo much cheaper and tastes delicious. Plus you get to flavor it after the initial fermentation any way you want. I highly recommend the Kombucha shop. I purchased their deluxe kit before buying this tea for subsequent batches. I'm on my third batch and loving every one!
