It really works. GPU from 90 degrees to 66 degrees.
My GPU was always at 90 degrees while rendering. Now it's at 66 degrees. But it comes with a price, noise. But you will find the point at regulating the fan intensity, you will not use it at full power all the time, I mean, what if my GPU is at 72 degrees instead of 66 degrees? I have tried many cooler pads, even the small exhaust on the side of the laptop, but nothing really worked. This does. I TOTALLY recommend it. I have a ROG STRIX SCAR II and no need to fry more eggs on it...

Perfect airflow
The air flow is perfect , it is very noisy but hey , the more air you wanna move , the more noisy you should expect ... The temps really get effected by this cooler ... On 300rpm it is more then enough to keep temps under 40c on idle processing ... However you need it full speed for 100% CPU and GPU utilisation

Great cooling, RGB, own power, USB ports
Works really really well, a massive upgrade from my cheap cooler from before. It runs a bit loud at higher speeds but it does an AMAZING job, previously the cables around my laptop were untouchable I.e hot to the touch with CPU + GPU rendering but now it’s actually really good. I haven’t checked temps yet but I feel like it keeps my laptop below 40° easily. I love the RGB, scroll bar and the USB ports as well and the fact that it runs on its own power.

Good for Gaming Laptop!
tested with my HP Victus 16t R-000 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700H RTX 4070, the dust filter is what i like most, i wont be needing to open my laptop ever 3-6 months to clean the fans, as we all know gaming laptop has a strong cooler fan which collect dust pretty quick. don't rely on the product it self to reduce your temp, make sure your laptops fan is clean , thermal paste replace, and bios is up to date. would be nice too if some parts of the cooler are not made with all plastic, some aluminum which can cool more the air it blows and also extra foam pads for laptops. 1,200 rpm is perfect speed for me. keeps my temp 60-65 under heavy usage.

Effective, beautiful, load
This device is very effective in cooling my zephyrus g16 2024 while gaming. When I ramp up the speed , it is actually load but I prefer to use headphone rather than reducing the lifespan of an expensive laptop😂 On 800 rpm, it reduce the gpu temperature around 10 degrees C , and gpu around 8 degrees. You should be really careful on how you put your laptop on this fan. Zephyrus g16 has an exhaust on the back , below the laptop. You should push the laptop a little to back to not block the exhaust. You can also cut a small part of foam from the exhaust sits to make a clearance for air. Another small problem is that the speakers are under the laptop and when using any coolpad with similar design, you block the speakers. However this is not very serious, as the fan speed is so loud that I prefer using a headphone

Great cooling but noisy
I advise using noise-canceling headsets and a more extensive travel bag with it because it is heavy. However, it works fine for my Omen 17" 3070ti Laptop, and I noticed a 6~10 Degrees decrease in CPU heat depending on whether the AC is on in the room or not and is set to what degree.

I picked up the llano RGB cooling pad and it’s been fantastic—definitely earns a full 5 stars. It keeps my laptop noticeably cooler during heavy use, which is exactly what I wanted. The fan is strong but not annoyingly loud, and the whole unit feels solid and well thought‑out. After using another cheaper cooler that actually blew dust into the laptop and didn’t really cool it, this one is a night‑and‑day improvement. The touch controls, LCD, and RGB lighting are nice extras, but the real highlight is how effectively it moves air into the laptop. It also works across a wide range of laptop sizes, so I don’t have to worry if I ever switch machines. Overall, it’s the best fan I’ve tried so far.

The Llano RGB Laptop Cooling Pad is an undeniably powerful piece of equipment, and it lives up to its promise of significant cooling for gaming laptops. However, it's crucial to understand that "powerful" here often equates to "loud" at its highest settings. This is a bulky unit, designed to deliver serious airflow, and its maximum cooling performance definitely comes with a considerable amount of noise. You'll want some good noise-cancelling headphones if you plan to push it to its limits. I personally use this with my 16-inch Lenovo Legion 7i, and it's a perfect fit for the cooler's generous top surface. It does an excellent job of keeping the laptop cool, which is vital for reducing the strain on the laptop's internal fans and, perhaps more importantly, preventing dust from being sucked up into the bottom vents and clogging the system. In my opinion, dust accumulation is one of the biggest long-term cooling problems for gaming laptops, and the Llano's "air chamber" design seems particularly effective at mitigating this. When I'm gaming, I typically find my sweet spot between 300-600 RPM. This range provides a great balance of effective airflow without the fan drowning out the game's audio. At these speeds, the sound is not unpleasant and is easily negligible over game speakers – my partner and I barely notice it. This makes it comfortable for extended gaming sessions without needing headphones purely for noise mitigation. Overall, while this is a pricier cooling pad, I believe it's absolutely worth the investment if you're looking for something truly efficient. The unique "air chamber" design ensures more air is directed through your laptop's cooling system, leading to genuinely lower temperatures and helping to prevent dust ingress. Just be aware that its size makes it less than portable – this is a cooling pad designed for a dedicated desk setup, not for throwing in a backpack. For the serious gamer or power user who values sustained performance and laptop longevity at home, the Llano RGB is a perfect, albeit stationary, companion.

Was skeptical about buying this because of its size and price. I had a small, simple, usb powered 3-fan cooler that I was using which was fine. I don't know how effective it was but it was better than nothing, I suppose. I was worried about the hooks that grasp the laptop near my wrists being an issue. However, thanks to the replies of a number of other users, that is not a concern. I don't even use them as the memory foam gasket is sufficient to hold the laptop in place. This thing can move a ton of air. It can be noisy when you have it wound up, but I usually keep it at 500 rpm. You can hear it, but it's not offensively loud. It keeps the laptop cool during gaming with no concern whatsoever. It requires a DC jack which I didn't think about. It's not a concern for me, just something I did not consider. It's nice to have so many extra USB ports, even if I'm not really using them. It is thick, but the payoff is well worth the extra size. I should have bought this ages ago; it does a fantastic job.
