This item is fantastic value for money for what it is and does - noting that it contains a chip and a lot of special absorbent padding. To those of you who have been using an Epson ink tank printer for some time without checking the maintenance box, my advice is to do it asap. When I removed mine I discovered that it was saturated with ink and overflowing. Every time I cleaned the nozzles the surplus ink would have been spilling out and making a mess.
