We bought this to change the color of an electric fireplace where paint wasn't an option. I liked the fact that it had the look and feel of a wood grain to preserve that look. As other users have noted, it is easy to tear. But if you take your time and are careful, it is really not an issue as all. If you a a reasonably decent DIYer you will have not issues. The backside is marked for ease of cutting but we used an exacto knife and a ruler for straight edge cuts If your cuts aren't perfect, no worries, the seams overlap and are virtually invisible due to the thinness of the paper. We had some issues on small carved areas of the trim work. Take your time, use narrow or small strips of paper instead of one larger overlay and the you should have no problems Overall very happy with how the whole project came out.

I love this peel & stick paper. I have been updating a wall unit and decided to give this a try. Initially I ordered 2 rolls just to see if it would work. The paper goes on easily, can be repositioned and you can fix any bubbles quickly. You do have to have a gentle hand when applying it so you don't tear it but if you cause a little tear or miss a spot, it's very easy to fix. It's a great value for the money. It finishes nicely and looks wonderful with the wood grain. It is sticky enough that I have no concerns about durability or peeling. I like it so much that I have ordered 3 more rolls.

Easiest of this type of product I have used. It can tear but depending on pattern may not matter. I bought the embossed black of this to cover some shelves and decided to get the wood look to see how it would look on my kitchen cabinets. I have already tried painting them twice and didn't want to do it again. My kitchen cabinets look so much better. Just applied so have to see how stands up to cleaning. I put the wood on the large flat panels and surrounding rectangular border. I put the embossed in the edges.very happy. Now to see what time will tell. Photos are before and after.

Very sticky, can be removed and repositioned with out messing up or tearing. Looks like high end quality. Made my space i put mine up in look so luxurious and stunning. Looks like i have a very expensive bathroom now. Recommend buying several rolls if u are doing a large area.

I bought this contact paper to switch out the color of my desk when I started working from home. When we all started working from home and with supply chain issues I was not able to get the desk I wanted so I had to settle for what was available. I had this contact paper on my desk for about a year and a half before deciding to part ways with it. Is it worth it for the price? Yes, but with a caveat. It's worth it if you're not too hung up on perfection or if you're a pro at applying contact paper to furniture. Positives: The thickness of this contact paper surprised me—it's really sturdy! The wooden grain texture is a winner too. It doesn't look cheap because the pattern isn't too repetitive. Neutral: One saving grace is that if you mess up while sticking the paper, you can usually pull it off without tearing it. For my lack of experience this was a nice to have because I did mess up quite a few times. It probably didn't help that my first project was a very large desk that required a lot of precise and flat application of the contact paper. Negatives: Now, here's the tricky part. The adhesive didn't seem as sticky as I hoped or as all the YouTube videos I watched promised it would be. People usually tend to advertise contact paper for a fairly longer term solution in upgrading your furniture but this was not my personal experience. Even after applying heat to get rid of air bubbles they started showing up on the surface after a few weeks. But that was not even the worst part compared to the fact it started peeling at the corners pretty much immediately. Overall: I don't want to blame the contact paper entirely for my less-than-ideal experience. Truth be told, it was my first attempt at using this stuff on furniture. If you're a DIY pro, you might make it work. For beginners like me, it could be a bit challenging. Despite the hiccups, the quality and texture are there, making it a decent option if you're up for the challenge or have some experience under your belt.

I was absolutely ASTOUNDED at how realistic this liner is! It actually looks like it’s wood grain! You have to look up close to see that it’s actually a liner. Went on very smoothly with no bubbles. Would absolutely purchase again and I highly recommend this product. AMAZING!

I bought a L-shaped desk that was made of cheap particle board with faux "wood". It gets scratched up so easily that I decided to look into covering it with contact paper. This product caught my eye due to the price point for the amount they give you, and the reviews were good. here are my take-aways: * easy to use * sticks well, if you mess up, it easily comes off and it doesn't lose its stickiness. I will say at one point it did peel off my faux wood but I blame that on the cheap wood, not the product itself, every other time it came off easily * lines up easily with another piece: so i failed to measure that my right side of the desk was wider than my left so the width of the paper was actually too short. I did have plenty left over so I measured it and cut it to cover the rest. the new piece blended really well and you can't tell that it's two pieces lined up. ( i would suggest using an X-acto knife for preciseness) * easily cuts (i used an x-acto knife) and there was no tugging or pulling * low odor: there was a slight smell but it goes away * bubbles were easily removed by just rubbing it ( i didn't have to use a straight edge, just my hands) Overall this was really easy to use and I highly recommend it. Be careful to not let it stick to itself because pulling it can distort it or cause creases ( slight creases will go away if you rub it)

The color and quality of the product is not as per the photo show. The product which I have received is grey color and not black. There is no return or replacement option available for this product. So you cannot return if you are not satisfied with the product. Also the product is not worth for the 999rs I paid.

Bought this which is more expensive but width was just nice to wrap around the cabinet top. You’ll need to persons to help do this. Need some skills. Although technically we can wrap all in one piece, I had to slice into 3 parts cos the alignment was a little off. But in the end, everything worked out. I didn’t try to do the doors cos my doors hv handles.

This product is great for flat surfaces where you can access all sides, make sure you use a wallpaper smoothing tool as well. Having two people to apply is best, particularly for larger width.
