Are the bits magnetic to hold screws?

Since I had the same question, and didn't see a definitive answer provided, I will do so. The bits themselves are NOT magnetic. The guides (the long silver portions) have a magnet within them. When a bit is inserted, the magnetism conveys through the bits. Two comments regarding the bits: 1) The magnetism is not very strong. It's enough to hold a screw for building a PC. But I wouldn't trust it to keep a larger screw from falling. 2) Calling this a 14-pc set is slightly misleading. First off, it only has 3 different bit styles, flat, phillips, and square. Of those, there are: 2 SL08 bits (flat-head), 1 SL10 bit (flat-head), 6 P2 bits (phillips), and 3 S02 bits (square). So there are really only 3-4 different bits, making it less useful than I had expected.

Hi Thomas, these pieces are not specifically designed for use with impact drivers. That being said though, they can be used with an impact driver, but may not stand up to long term or repeated use.

Does this include Allen wrench bits?

No, the DW2097CS does not include Allen wrench bits.
