Doesn't work with cats unless they have enormous paws
Completely useless for my cats - the wires are spaced too far apart, so their paws never touch more than one wire at a time. Here are some pictures of my cats actually taking a nap on this thing, and yes it was turned on, and the light was flashing to say it was working, and it worked fine when I tested it with my (much larger) hand. Returning for a refund and looking for a different manufacturer.

Worked For Us But Uses Lots of Batteries
Got these last year to keep our 1-year-old cat out of Christmas tree and away from other Christmas decor. I wanted the semi-circle but last year they were sold out, so I bought 4 of the large rectangles. I put 3 in front of the tree (overlapping) and another on a table I wanted to keep his furry butt off of and they all worked as designed. Cat is bigger this year, so we will see. So far he's in his cat tree watching from a safe distance.Last year it scared the tar out of him about 3 times and then he got the hint. I purposefully shocked myself with it at first to see how intense it is. Low is very much like putting your tongue on a 9-volt battery and that is where we kept it. Never needed to go higher.I didn't store them flat and now they are lumpy, but what do you expect from plastic, and that's on me for folding them.They do eat batteries...nom nom nom.

Works great! All you need is a 9 volt battery. My dog no longer jumps on the couch or the counter! Thank you!The high might be too high. We just used the low and my dogs got the hint. They are about 60lbs each.

Cars are hard to protect. Hope this works.
It’s a good size for the car trunk. Have a larger one for the hood. Unfortunately I needed both as cats just chose a different path to walk on the car. I’d like it better if it didn’t have a flashing light.

Love these! It has fixed my issue of having the dogs sneak into the kitchen. I ordered two of these. One for each end of the kitchen.

Mat did not turn on
Was excited to try this mat out as my cat likes to jump on the stove and kitchen counters. Was hoping to deter him from these types of behaviors using the training mat. I tried several new 9V batteries and the mat would not turn on. In addition, the battery cover was poorly constructed and would not fit back into place without falling off. Had to return the defective product.
