Small easy to carry and it have its own battry if you plan to take it out for a while, at home it made my time with the higher sound and bass tweaking.

I bought this to add life and depth to a portable cd player that works great but sounds a little flat, and struggles to drive higher-impedance headphones. This works perfectly, adds a lot more power/volume and the tone controls give a good range of eq. The "loudness" button is also very useful at low volume, the sound quality of my cd player is greatly improved with this little device. Couldn't be happier with it. Also does the same for phone/tablet. Build quality is excellent, feels very solid and durable. Small enough to put in your pocket, if a little heavy.

Tengo varios amplificadores de auriculares, entre ellos alguno de sobremesa, con componentes discretos y en clase A y algún otro de triodos single ended. Pero desde que tengo éste, no he vuelto a usar ninguno de los otros. La versatilidad de poder ecualizar graves, medios y agudos y aplicar loudness (que por cierto está muy bien logrado) hacen que sin importar que cascos utilice, siembre encuentro el balance tonal adecuado. Muy contento con él.

Eigentlich ist der Fosi SK01 ein Kopfhörervorverstärker. Normalerweise nutzt man so ein Gerät aus folgendem Grund: Man hat einen MP3-Player, ein Smartphone, ein DAB+ Radio, Tablet etc. und schließt daran einen Kopfhörer an. Der resultierende Sound ist dann oft leise und dünn – insgesamt also eher enttäuschend. Schaltet man den SK01 zwischen das Gerät und den Kopfhörer, wird der Klang nicht nur deutlich lauter, sondern vor allem auch voller, insbesondere im Bassbereich. Ich habe mir das Gerät allerdings aus einem anderen Grund zugelegt: Ich betreibe einen günstigen MP3-Player im 50-Euro-Bereich und daran die „DOSS Extreme Boom“-Lautsprecher im TWS-Modus (siehe mein Foto). Das klingt schon ganz nett, aber der „Extreme Boom“ bleibt irgendwie verhalten, und ich habe mich schon lange gefragt, ob da nicht noch mehr drin ist. Meine Idee war, den SK01 zwischen MP3-Player und die Bluetooth-Lautsprecher zu schalten. Theoretisch müsste man dann mehr Signalpegel und kräftigere Bässe bekommen – und genau so ist es auch. Mit dem SK01 klingt mein kleines Setup sofort deutlich voller und bassiger. Damit die Klarheit nicht leidet und der Sound nicht nur dumpf wird, kann man am SK01 Höhen und Mitten individuell einstellen und den Klang nach Belieben anpassen. Ein zusätzlicher Loudness-Schalter sorgt bei Bedarf für extra Druck. Der Akku hält laut Hersteller sechs Stunden. In meinem Test waren es eher neun Stunden, wobei die Power-LED nach etwa 7,5 Stunden zu blinken begann, um den niedrigen Akkustand zu signalisieren. Verbaut ist übrigens ein handelsüblicher 18650 Li-Ion Rundzellen-Akku mit 2500 mAh und 3,7 V. Sollte man irgendwann mal einen Austausch benötigen, ist es theoretisch möglich, das Gerät zu öffnen und einen neuen Akku einzusetzen – vielleicht sogar mit höherer Kapazität, z. B. 3300 mAh. Ich selbst habe das bisher nicht ausprobiert, wollte es aber der Vollständigkeit halber erwähnen. Fazit: Für mich ist der SK01 ein echter Geheimtipp. Das Gerät ist hochwertig verarbeitet, komplett aus Metall, und es ist erstaunlich, was es aus meinen kleinen DOSS-Lautsprechern herausholt. Es klingt fast so, als würde man deutlich größere Lautsprecher hören, und der SK01 holt alles aus den Dingern heraus, ohne nennenswerte Verzerrung. Der Preis von knapp 80 Euro ist zwar nicht günstig, aber für diese Leistung absolut gerechtfertigt. Top!

Got it as a gift. I use Timeless 7Hz AE with a USB-C adapter (Has a DAC) that boosts audio a bit. I thought that was as good as it gets for IEMs. The Fosi though, completely boosts everything. Every little details with no static, hissing or crackling in idle or when playing. The bass boost without loss in audio is exceptional. I can actually FEEL the punchy bass. It feels great. My audio setup is now complete. Premium-feeling entry level Amp. There may be better Amps but this is the first I got and I really like it.
