I did a 4-day motorcycle trip with this. Initially I had it a little loose and about a half hour in it swung wide on me. I lowered the camera to a less telescoped setting and tightened it up and it lasted the entire trip. Every once and a while, I would telescope it out in front of me to collect some footage. Most of the time, I used as a dash cam right above my lower engine guard by the turn signal. The double mount was definitely an added safeguard. I might try handlebar mounting or mounting to rear saddlebag guard sometime for a change, but as it was, it worked perfectly ('17 Road Glide Ultra).

The kit is well made, but is not as sturdy as i was hoping. It does wobble when extended, so I only use about 75% extended on each section. I use a different clamp with the rod and its a bit more sturdy. Overall, good purchase.

Base broke and no longer served it's purpose after 10 minutes of it being mounted. Luckily the adjustable mounts held it at least on for a moment and I didn't lose my camera. Unfortunately where I was and lack of space I couldn't bring it back to request a refund, so I'm just out the money I spent.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good product

Solid claps. Not as good as the Insta360. But for a price you are paying, they are more than acceptable. They held my camera stick to my bike under extremely bumpy off-road and gravel conditions.

Crab claws look ok but selfie stick is really bad. Its lock gets loose and selfie stick fell down a level twice on motorcycle. More important the base of selfie stick got stuck with mount and became loose.
