M5 Digital 1080P Day & Night Vision Rifle Scope Hunting Monocular Camera with 850 or 940nm IR (M5-50-IR940-GP)

I would recommend this scope to anyone out there. I couldn’t believe how good the picture is and how well it works. Simply underpriced. The IR works amazing.

There are others available that are likely better, have a crisper focus, etc., but this works as advertised and with no issues. Quality is good, lenses appear good and day and night vision quality are good. Spend more, but it’s not necessary for my uses. Very pleased with product and will certainly checkout this brands other offerings.

This is absolutely a great buy! $100 for an NV optic that actually mounts on a rifle is unheard of! It's entry level, of course, and there's a lot to be desired.... But at this price point, seriously?? Honestly, I had it a week or less before returning it, but only because I was willing to spend a little more for the Starstrike.... This one lights up the night like the sun came out, but only out to about 50 yards or so..... It's difficult to focus, and dialing it in, or "zeroing" left a bad taste in my mouth.... I didn't like that once I had it zeroed, the reticle stayed like that on the screen.... I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that.... Instead of re-centering in the view field, it stayed way down and to the left..... I thought that was odd, but then I got the Starstrike, and it's much the same (although nowhere near as obvious to me), I'm guessing it's just like that with digital optics? Anyway..... I highly recommend this item ONLY because of the price.... Like I said, a mounted NV optic for this cheap is pretty substantial! Just don't expect any more than that, and you won't be disappointed.....

So far I am pleased with it . The diopler knob was stuck on the o ring .after broke it loose it adjusted perfectly for a clear image. 300 yards in total darkness it shows a clear image.

I received my first one correctly (M5-50-IR940-GP) note freq is clearly IR940, so I ordered this second one and received the WRONG freq of 850NM. Useless to me at the 850 frequency as a red glow can be visually seen at night. I sent an email to the seller via Amazon and was told I'd have to return it to China at my expense, even though it was "clearly the wrong item" at the wrong frequency. So I had to involve Amazon to receive a prepaid U.S. address to return it for a refund. The viewer picture quality is not there in this item, it is a very cheap and there is no way to adjust it for use as a scope no elevation, so I simply use it as a night vision viewer. I can't recommend this item, it is mostly made of plastic and the mount is made of very poor quality pot metal and broke the first time I tried to put it on a tripod. I suggest spending a little more for better quality.

I had high hopes for this scope for my Ruger 10/22. Optics are not great but would have worked IF the crosshairs would have maintained zero. With all screws tightened down and double checked, would not do better than 3" @ 13yds. With a different scope, the same rifle is <1" @ 50yd. I waited too long to use it and can't return it so maybe an observation camera? Also, ordered 940nm but it is actually 850nm. Seems others have had this problem too.
