Total Rip Off
Way too expensive to be so small and do absolutely nothing. Don’t get me wrong. My son loves Octonauts but this was truly a rip off. There’s other toys on Amazon for wayyyyy cheaper that are bigger, more fun and actually do something. Trust me by yourself 2 toys and have some money leftover instead of buying this non sense

Sound The Octo Alert. Saving To Collect? I Better Keep The Packaging. Official Toy.
Initial thoughts. I was excited to select this, but a tad confused. The size of this is no way close to the size to my present Octonaut collection that my children play with. For instance, my Captain Barnacles plush alone, is over a foot in size, while the captain’s chair within this toy’s cabin is about (5) millimeters wide, at most, and near (10) millimeters tall, at most. The overall toy size is about 4” x 5” x 2”. So, this is small. It replicates something much larger in my opinion. Fit & Finish? Flawless manufacture. Weight Its overall weight is heavy at near (15) ounces. Make-up The body of this is made of a metal alloy with extensions being made of a soft plastic. Value? For my wallet, it’s premium priced. But it’s made of metal, which makes a difference. Old-time quality. Detail? The details I am amazingly pleased with. With a little imagination, I think Cobalt Light reflects the shows counterpart craft. How did this arrive? In a heavy cardboard and plastic blister Pak type packaging that should be kept if collecting, as it reflects what’s inside, i.e., a scene from the show. Further, that’s where its certificate of authenticity is affixed. Inside? Inside is the craft of course. The packaging which houses the craft, as mentioned above, is a mixture of clear plastic and cardboard and the inside is very colorful, resembling a scene that I would see in a storyline. The package is about 9” x 5” x 5”, weighing in at near a pound. Characters (wish list) None were included, which is too bad. Having one (1) would have been small, but fun to observe, especially if built within the craft. The struggle? To collect (and display) or allow to be played with. Country of origin? Made in China I hope my thoughts added a bit of information.

Great For Collectors
This is truly a nice quality, metal toy. It is heavy, well made, and nicely painted. It seems to be more of a collectors piece. It says it is compatible with other Octonauts toys, but it is fairly small (especially the inside part). None of my son's Octonauts characters pair with this. I'm going to save this for when my son is a little older. I'll have it displayed in his room till then.
