Best Four Season Tent for the Price!
Sure, if you want to spend $600+ on a four season expedition tent, you might find viable competitors, but this one withstood 30+ MPH winds and kept me warm a few very cold (as low as -10 Degrees F) nights. Had a little hiccup when setting up the tent for the first. I broke a pole tip while pulling too hard trying to get it to reach grommet - material is snug. Geertop was very responsive and immediately sent a replacement. If you decide to purchase this tent, be patient as pole sleeve will stretch slightly over time, making it easier to fit pole into grommets. Geertop explained that material is supposed to be tight to avoid flapping in high winds when tent is all set up. I loved the snow skirt and assembly was a cinch. Tent is breathable with two vents located on the top of the fly and floor stayed dry when snow camping. Having two entrances side by side is an added convenience when camping beside snow drift or boulder. Overall, I highly recommend this tent for those who want to save some money and not skimp on quality.

CAMPING TENT FOR MY UTILITY TRAILER
I really like this tent. It was roomy for (1) person in the utility trailer. It has a shell, then you connect the tent to the shell. So it would not work for a summer tent. It has a high side on the bottom of the tent for rainy days. the water won't enter into the tent. It was really easy to set up. Once I set it up, I transferred the tent into the trailer and it fit pretty good. Granted, it provides less room than the tent being set up on the ground. It was very sturdy and worked well on our camping trip.

Awesome... no major complaints. You could easily spend a LOT more for the same or less capability
Purchase date Oct 2016 I am a purchasing consumer. I did not receive a free review sample and am not receiving any compensation for posting this review. Over a dozen camp outs and backpacking trips done with this tent. Several have been in rain / wind storm conditions Single person POU I did not have any problems with rain / water leaks, I did however take the time to seam-seal the rain fly and tub floor with silicone sealant. I do this with all my tents though and IMHO this should be standard protocol for ANY tent. PROS: >Good water / rain performance... tape sealed stitches and generous rain flaps over all zippers >Reflective accents, excellent visibility at night with even my dimmest flashlight setting (1 Lumen). >Price >Easy to set up >Dual doors >Excellent size / volume for single person POU. Very spatious, roomy and capable. >Excellent features for winter wind / rain storm camping conditions >Rugged enough without being over-built, over-rugged, excessive bulky or heavy >Sufficient guy lines and anchor points for winter wind storm conditions. >Pole sleeves are smooth and do not stick to poles even in wet rain-soaked conditions >Aluminum poles are well made. >Solid double wall construction. Outer rain fly with inner wall hook-suspended inside. CONS, none major.. just some minor annoyances. >Mine came with a manufacturing defect, one of my inner wall hooks was defective. I still it without any problems >Compression sack buckles do not grip the webbing very well and can fall off and get lost easily >A bit small for 2 people + gear >Not much ventilation, condensation collects on the walls in cold / wet conditions. >Red color can "mess" with the color balance of your vision. To understand this, get a red sheet of paper and in bright light hold it right up to your face for a few minutes. Pull it away and look around, notice how everything looks "green". I should have bought the yellow version. NUETRAL: >Weight... With this much capability, performance and features prepare to hump a lot of weight and dedicate a considerable volume in your pack load out. I can comfortably manage 30~35 pound load out in my 80L pack given my SAWC. Others may have problems with this. >Vestibule area is huge, which is NICE but it places the zippers very far out when doors are zippered shut, so its a bit of a crawling reach opening and closing doors all the way.

Great Tent for Camping!
Love this tent, although you can fit 2 people in it, it's great for a single person, and light weight. First time setup was a bit tricky as instructions aren't very clear. You have to setup the external fly cover first, then once that's up you hook up the inside tent to the fly covering. To save you extra steps, when taking it down, leave the tent connected to the fly covering, this way it's already connected the next time you set it up. The only thing was the vents on top can only be opened and closed from outside, other tents you can unzip the mesh covering from inside so you can close the vents if you wanted to. I've seen reviews that water gets in through the seams during long periods of rain, it rained once for me and I stayed nice and dry, but I think with long periods of rain, any tent will get wet inside as they're water resistant, not waterproof. I highly recommend this tent for a single person, single person and a pet, or a couple.

Quality
Used on a mountain goat hunt in Alaska loved this upgrade from my old tent love how the sleeping area is separate from the rain fly allowing water to shed in between the two areas and keeping you dry inside. Wish it was lighter for backpacking but still not bad 3lbs I think. Comparable to high end tents for the price.

Good materials, poor design.
I bought this tent as part of a Black Friday promotion, because the design is interesting and I wanted to give it a shot. I kept notes to help me decide if I wanted to keep it. Cons - the ceiling is too high. Not only does it add unnecessary weight, but a high ceiling means there is more room for your heat to dissipate, which means a colder interior. A small tent with two people will warm quickly just through body heat, this tent forgot that’s a thing. -someone mentioned the zippered vents are a waste of weight as well, and I agree. They do basically nothing. - the small pole is slightly too long, this is a clear manufacturing defect. You can force it to fit (others have mentioned intentionally bending it), but that makes it extremely difficult to close the double layered inner door. - the interior isn’t big enough. The outside shell is enormous, but once you’ve attached the living quarters inside, it’s not even enough room for two backpacking mattresses (4 feet). You can use the vestibule for storage, but when you access your items you let the heat out. There just isn’t enough living space. - the doors are terrible. At 5’8, even crouching doesn’t put my head low enough to enter. The entrance/exit is so small and low to the ground it feels like crawling into a tube at a McDonalds play place constantly. The inaccessible entrance meant that I spent most of my camping trip sitting on my haunches outside the tent, reaching through and grabbing what I needed. Some tents you can hang out inside during the day and still keep your bed clean, the layout of this one means it will only be used for sleeping. -If you need something on the opposite side of the tent, you’ll need to take off your shoes and make sure your feet are clean. It’s a massive bother. - it’s heavy! Positives - the outside rain sleeve is excellent. It’s 8000mm, most are 3000-5000. No rain or snow is getting through that. - The price - It looks cool. Green is my favorite color, and it looks similar to Everest-type tents that retail for $600 Ultimately I have decided not to keep it, because the cons significantly outweighed the pros. Also the fact that Geertop couldn’t even make sure all the poles were the correct length makes me lose confidence in them as a company. It’s not the worst but there are better options for the price.

Threw away after 2 uses.
One of the poles was too long, making it extremely difficult to put into place. I permanently bent the pole the first time and ripped the entire corner tab off the second time. It's a shame, because it was an otherwise perfectly good winter tent.

An absolute steal of a value!
This tent is great! First time using it the weather decided to take a turn. I was able to put this tent up by myself in windy conditions. The gusts were up to 40 mph and this tent held strong. Then the rain began, to my surprise, no leaks! Oh, and the temperature was 40 F/ 27 with the wind chill, and it was significantly warmer inside than outside. For the price, the is a must buy! Space inside has enough room for two plus a small hiking pack, the vestibule gives you about two more feet of storage as well. For my pittie (dog), my gear bag, and myself it was perfect! Short video attached attempting to show the winds.
