Great seat easy to install the instruction's are very easy to follow but you don't really need them it's simple to fit take off the old seat and fitting's off replace it with your new fitting's 10 minute job even for the none diy'er i thought anyway. The fact that you just press the button in the middle of it to take the whole seat of it for cleaning is a big plus point for me and it arrived well before it was supposed too which was another plus point for me all in all would recommend this to anyone ;)

Whilst I was initially happy with this product ( bought June 16) I have to say I’m disappointed with the quality. The seat lid developed a tiny crack near the rear which resulted in it ceasing to soft close,( the seat however still is). I’ve continued to use it up until now as it was irritating but not a major problem. I’ve recently noticed a crack in the ’ buffers’ on the lid too, so the constituency of the plastic is not tough. I’ve now ordered a new one that’s very similar, slightly more expensive with good reviews. I’ve had toilet seats that lasted many years so I don’t think I’m unreasonable in being disappointed after 3. Crossing my fingers. 😳

We read the first few reviews on this product which were excellent and they gave 5 stars. Unfortunately we did not read further back. Like others we were initially pleased with the toilet seat. It looked good, fitted easily and the soft close worked well. It lasted just under a week. IF YOU SIT ON THE LID IT WILL SHATTER AND INJURE YOU POSSIBLY QUITE BADLY! (and neither of us are heavy). This has never happened to us before in any of our houses, nor to any friends. Not only that but the company will refuse to refund you and will tell you it is not designed to be sat on. Find me a household where no one ever sits on the toilet lid! Also, despite the many people who have already had this problem and injuries and reported in their reviews, the company has neither taken this product off the market nor even put a peelable warning sticker on the seat. Unfortunately for us, before we had the incident, we had already placed an order for another seat on behalf of father-in-law. He has sat on his toilet seat lid in his utility room to put his gardening shoes on for the past 45 years without incident. Clearly this is not going to be safe for him. The company will not accept a return as it had been unwrapped. So we are now out of pocket for nearly £40 and still need to purchase another new toilet seat. We have reported this to Trading Standards as it could cause a serious injury. The shattered plastic is very sharp and could slice someone's thigh. Be warned.

Was a sturdy product that was good value for money and did the job that was needed of it

Looks ok but the quick release element is just too quick!! If you don't sit squarely on it, the whole thing lifts off which is most disconcerting!! Sorry to say I won't be replacing my others with this product.

After buying so many useless cheap toilet seats in the past, I decided to try this one. Whilst not expensive, it was several pounds cheaper from this seller than other identical products so that was a good start. The seat arrived within 2 days or ordering and was exactly as described. The fitting of the seat (to a toilet that has caused so many problems in the past it's ridiculous) was so easy we thought we much have missed something! It took less than 5 minutes with the top fitting screw with rubber expanding device and the easy release mechanism is ingenious. It makes cleaning the toilet and seat so much easier and precise. Wish I'd invented this.

i loved the idea of been able to take it off to clean but the seat is very wobbly and keeps moving

It's great that you can remove it from the toilet when cleaning. For what you get I think this is a very good price. It fitted our toilet perfectly, my only negative is it's quite light which means the soft closing seat takes a while to fully close fall from a up to a down position. I'd prefer a seat that was more solid and closed faster. But I'm pleased with my purchase. UPDATE: Over the years it quickly discoloured. Not impressive. Looked horrible.
