J'ai essayé qqs mois la Wavlink proposée ici et ouf, le son faisait des bruits lorsque ça tombait en mode veille, il nécessitait des autorisations de copies d'écran, c'était la pire technologie! Ici, le top pour la qualité d'écran sur Display port et le 2e moniteur doit être branché sur le Downstream Thunderbolt car les deux ports DP ne peuvent être utilisés en même temps sur un Mac car ça crée une copie! Sinon, la top rapidité et clareté! Cons: - Il n'a pas de sortie audio. Mais une carte Sound Blaster en USB, se match bien!

I bought this with a nice discount, and after almost a year it has not disappointed. Has never overheated, no problems at all. It does output 1440 at 144 hz with my macbook pro on two monitors, so that's nice. Good deal.

Update Nov 2024: I own an M3 Max Binned Version, and while I initially enjoyed using this dock, I now find several unacceptable issues that forced me to downgrade my review from 4 stars to 1 star. I currently use three monitors: the Studio Display, the LG DualUp (vertical), and the Alienware AW3225QF (240Hz). Unfortunately, this dock has proven to be almost worthless for managing them effectively, especially for high-performance setups. 1. Issues with AW monitor While I don’t typically work with the Alienware monitor, the dock's performance with it is severely lacking: - DisplayPort: The refresh rate is capped at 120Hz with no HDR, and HDR is only available at 60Hz. Even then, the monitor flickers every few seconds, making it impractical. - HDMI: The dock only outputs 60Hz with HDR, far below the monitor’s 240Hz capability. - Direct Connection: When plugged directly into the Mac’s HDMI port, the monitor achieves 240Hz with HDR seamlessly, proving the dock is the limiting factor. 2. LG DualUp Resolution Issues Using the dock’s HDMI port with the LG DualUp results in impractical resolutions that require constant adjustments to avoid eye strain. It’s frustrating and time-consuming to configure a monitor this way. - Direct Connection: Connecting the monitor directly to the Mac via USB-C to USB-C delivers flawless resolution out of the box with no need for adjustments. 3. Studio Display Port: The only reliable port on the dock is the downstream USB-C port, which is used exclusively for the Studio Display. This severely limits the dock's utility, as no other ports can reliably handle even basic functionality for the other monitors. This dock does not live up to its advertised claims. Despite promising 8K60Hz support, it struggles with 4K240Hz and fails to manage multiple monitors effectively. Two of my three monitors—the LG DualUp and Alienware AW3225QF—must be connected directly to the Mac. The LG DualUp requires a USB-C to USB-C connection, and the Alienware must use the Mac's HDMI port. For a premium-priced product, this dock fails to deliver even the basics of multi-monitor management. I cannot recommend it to anyone needing a reliable docking station for professional use. Initial review So far any issues with this dock, I got this at Nov before the Black Friday since I wanted to have a dock station for my personal computer and this is great for the price I paid for. I use this with my MacBook m3 max in clamshell mode with a dual monitor setup (5k and qhd). Build quality is great, looks nice at my desk and is great to have multiple ports and battery charging out of the box since I was always used to dongles. The only reason this is not a 5 star product is the lack of headphone jack, it really annoying but not a deal breaker if you have BT headphones or are willing to spend $20 for the apple EarPods usb c.

My desktop suddenly would not boot, and since it was purchased through a vendor I had to ship it in for repair. I wanted to use my gaming laptop that I take while traveling (MSI Cyborg 14 A13V) as a desktop in the meantime, so I looked into different Thunderbolt 4 docking stations. I settled for the Anker 778 since it was $200 on Prime Day. Received it, and everything is working great out of the box, plug-and-play. I have 3 27" monitors hooked up, keyboard, mouse, microphone and webcam. So far no power issues, and I can boot up games with no issue. One thing to note is that while I have a 1440p 144hz monitor, through the dock it only allows me to bump it up to 120hz which isn't a dealbreaker for me. All in all, I would recommend this dock.
