Looks sturdy, I'm excited to use it.
Lost a cam bolt so am waiting for mftr to send another. Instructions are good, goes together easily. I wouldn't call this "fine" wood; the skirting is obviously glued-laminated, (lamstock) but it won't interfere with use. Have my new flex shaft ready to hang on my sturdy DIY hanger made of steel pipe. Update: I went ahead and ordered cam bolts (had to get 10, just needed one) from a fastener place and got them the next day from Amazon. Still haven't gotten a cam bolt from Noble Fine Wood and that makes this at least a week longer of having to wait to put it together if I hadn't ordered my own. Everything fit together well and the joins feel secure. Had to use wood screws to attach the bench pin, mandrels, arm rest attachment into the underside of the top; did so without pilot holes and they went it just fine. The top is too thick for my vise, so I'm attaching it to the side edge for now, which isn't ideal as it doesn't have much board in its grip so I'll have to amend that somehow. The top is quite adequate to the job, the legs are sturdy, the drawers work just fine. The skirting is cheap lamstock but looks okay and does the job, we'll see how long it holds up. Already installed my flex shaft and am pretty happy with things thus far. As long as all the glue holds, this will work fine. I don't think I would use a product like this in damp summer climate without a climate controlled environment. For such a condition, I'd want to use solid wood products only.

Stop thinking which one. Rio? PMC? No just go with this one
Absolutely incredible product I sat there for I want to say 45 minutes to an hour researching and debating. Rio is a great bench, but you’re gonna pay through the nose with shipping cost if they were on Amazon and had free shipping and got it to my house in two days. I probably would’ve went with them and all honesty. However, this bench was on Amazon. It offered two day shipping. I wanted to get a quick not to mention the reviews. I saw led me to believe this was gonna be a safe choice. They honored the two day shipping. It was at my house in less than 48 hours incredibly packed. Shipped with FedEx with care. As far as putting it together, it is going to be the easiest experience of your life. It doesn’t matter if you’re a male that has no mechanical or woodworking experience or a female that never touched a screwdriver in her life. I promise you the directions are super easy and you will be able to figure it out no problem. If you’re skeptical trust me give yourself a little bit more credit. You will have no problem putting this together. On top of it being packed super nicely it was very easy to put together. Main reason you did not have to put any drawers together. It came in well several pieces however they were so easy to put together. The hardest part if you research was gonna be the second level along with the drawers. PMC has one for sale and I watched a video of a gentleman putting it together and it was a nightmare. He said it took him several hours. This product came all put together, so the second level that you’re going to screw into the table. Top was already put together and literally probably took me no longer than 40 minutes to put together. I hope this review helped as I am so excited on the experience I had with this And couldn’t speak any highly about this product.

Good solid work bench
This is exactly as described, a solid entry-level workbench. I had no issues assembling the bench, but like many self-assembled furniture these days, the wrench provided is not good. You will need a 4mm Allen wrench (the one provided is ok but didn't quite fit the bolts correctly), a Phillips head screw driver, and some patience! Getting to some of the screws for the arm rest mount are a bit challenging. The instructions are clear enough, but remember to look for slots that the wood panels on the back and interior top shelf slide into. It might take some gentle tapping to get the panels in those slots. The bench itself is nice. The arm rests are not quite where I prefer them, but that depends on how high your seat is relative to the bench. There are no stops to prevent the drawers sliding completely out by mistake. These small issues aside, the bench material is solid. I don't think this is something a professional would want to use, but if you find this at a good price, it is worth trying as a first or hobby workbench.

i regret not putting this money toward a quality bench from rio
Awful quality for the price. I wish I just spent the extra few hundred buying a bench from a reputable jewelry supplier. This bench’s looks similar enough to the one on Rio anyway, right? Don’t do it. I’m extremely disappointed by the cheap “wood” that is so soft it leaves marks after doing literally anything. I’ve only used this bench for a few days and it is covered in marks from simply placing my tools down. There are scuffs all over the side from pressing my saw frame into it to tighten my blades. The bench pin has chipped veneer or whatever the laminate coating is all over one side wherever metal has touched. The metal lemel catch tray arrived already full of marks and scratches. When I clamp anything onto the sides, like my flax shaft hanger, I can hear it crunch into the desk itself with barely any pressure applied. This thing is a POS, would’ve been worth $200 maximum if really on a budget, but I can’t recommend this to anyone for the price point. Save up and get a real wood bench.

LOVE
I have had this for a few months now and really love it. Easy to assemble and solid. It’s a good price compared to others. I did a lot of research on desks and this is the best bang for your buck.

All pieces arrived in good condition, and, the bench was easy to assemble. *It really helps to have two people build it, together.😊 I am pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially considering this item was 1/2 the price of some other, very similar, benches. I have not used it yet, as, I am waiting for my other supplies, but I am excited to put it to the test! The bench feels very solid, and, it has a beautiful aesthetic, too. The outlets all work. The drawers are long, and, of different depths to suit various storage needs. I would definitely buy again.❤️

Arrived quickly and was easily assembled. I did it by myself, but it would have been much easier with a second person for the very first step. Everything else was very easy. It's sturdy, despite my initial opinion on it. I thought it felt flimsy when I first opened the boxes (it comes in two boxes), but it's all solid wood, so when it's assembled, it is super sturdy. I'm a novice jewellery designer and I'm so pleased with this as my first real bench.

This would have been a great product , but I received it damaged. The right side board was cracked and split … that compromised the connection . Very disappointing…

I got this way earlier than expected and it came in 2 shipments. At first. I was skeptical of how sturdy it would be but as I kept assembling it became clear to me that this is a good sturdy product. I'm a beginner at making jewelry but I think people of all level should consider this bench. It's small and compact but large enough for making projects and I love that there are outlets and USB plug ins. For me it is a 5/5.

I believe I may have received either a returned bench or one with manufacturing defects. To begin with, the overall build quality does not match the price point, it isn't sturdy. On arrival, I noticed a large crack on the underside of the top panel. I had to glue it back myself, likely because it was damaged during shipping. The seller did provide a partial refund, and although I accepted it since the issue was mostly cosmetic, I wasn’t completely satisfied. Assembly was another major challenge. The design is poorly thought out, and you’ll find yourself performing a balancing act, especially if assembling it solo. A key part of good furniture design is ease of assembly, and this product misses the mark. The instruction manual isn't the greatest Adding to the frustration, there’s no indication in the manual that you need to hammer the mandrel hole block onto the underside of the top after everything is assembled. So, after putting the whole thing together, I had to awkwardly flip and balance it again just to install that one piece. Finally, out of the eight threaded spots meant to secure the tabletop to the legs, only six aligned properly. The remaining two had no threaded holes at all, clearly a manufacturing oversight. I genuinely wanted to give this bench a positive review, but given these issues, I cannot recommend it and i'd suggest spending a bit more on a reliable, branded option like Pepe Tools. I’ve used their benches before during workshops and didn’t want to spend the extra money and import fees so thought I'd give this bench a try, but I regret that decision.
