It's not easy to bulk-buy temporary vinyl for a reasonable price, so it's fantastic to see Cricut giving us an option like this.Speaking as an Explore Air 2 user, this vinyl DOES work with mats. You can trim the edge to fit within the grid, or simply line the left and right sides up with the actual edge of your mat. The adhesive will hold in in place and the side wheels will grip it sufficiently.For those who may not be used to it, Cricut's SmartVinyl has a thicker, plasticized backing. Weeding is easy, and the vinyl doesn't easily tear or scar.

Bulk Black Removable Vinyl, it’s exactly as described, great quality and the perfect amount of stickiness. Didn’t have issues with weeding due to my cutting blade depth. So if you use a lot of black vinyl for a project this is a great value for your money
