Great Product
We have been using 3 of these in a water distribution system for almost 2 years and they have worked out great. Quick coupling in the middle is the only down fall but will last about a year, then you put a 1" brass threaded coupling in there and keep using them. The motors are awesome we suck up all kinds of mud and debris and they just keep going.

Works really well!
This was a really cool find that works with all my DeWalt batteries that I have for my standard tools. I bought this because I have a big fountain that is a pain to clean. What used to take me close to an hour, I can now do in 15-20 minutes. Because this thing is battery operated, I don’t need the shop/vac or an extension cord. I also don’t need to dump out the shop vac multiple times or clean the shop vac afterwards. Here’s how it works -you submerge the intake end in the liquid, push the button and watch it blast out of the output nozzle which is threaded. You could attach a hose to it. It comes with a flexible clear tube that’s about 5 feet long. And it included a couple adjustable clamps for that tubing. The battery is housed in an enclosure to assure it stays dry. Because my fountain is in the middle of my garden, I don’t even bother with a hose. The pump sprays the water a good 10 feet!

Pumps well but leaves some behind.
It works well enough to pump water and self primes. The issue is that it leaves about 1/4 to 3/8 inch of water that it can’t pump out due to the guard at the bottom. And due to the length of the handle, when you shut it off any water in the handle back flows to where you are pumping out. This means you are stuck getting the last bit of water by hand if you are trying to get things completely dry.

Love It for my Duck Pool!
Bought this to drain our Duck Pool, after I tweaked my ankle and back stepping into a old fence post hole. I knew I wouldn't be able to bend over to lift the half full pool, filled with muck and water, of the ground to dump it without suffering a great deal of discomfort so I was really excited to find this Stick pump ... it drains all but maybe 1"-2" of water from the pool thus the pool is light enough for me to pick up and dump and rinse. The muck at the bottom of the pool isn't a problem either, it does decrease the water flow some but it doesn't stop it. Wet Duck feathers will gunk up the pump but they are easy enough to wipe off! This Stick-Pump is light weight but feels well build, the hose attachment lets you direct the water far enough away, we are most satisfied with the power this pump has with a full battery (haven't used the pump with a partially charged battery cause hubby has this thing about always using a fully charged battery when starting a new job) ... We will absolutely recommend this item to family and friends

This pump is bad to the bone.
This pump is the bomb. I use it for many things, but was really impressed in the way it transferred water out of this IBC tote to the spray tank on my UTV. Fast this thing is fast and runs forever on the battery. I can’t remember the last time I ever rode review on Amazon, but this one impressed me so much that I felt I had to.

Great for draining fountains.
I was impressed with how quickly it drained my large fountain. It’s easy to assemble and made of quality materials. It’s quiet while running and is easy to use. The hose allows you to direct the water flow away from the fountain.

It’s a great idea but the design could do with been improved .. the fact it splits in half makes the item weak and the connections and rubber are not the best quality material very weak

Pumps a good volume of water. Easy to attach to a water hose. Battery fits completely inside the cover (some have noted that it does not fit). I am using it in a salt water environment so we will see how long it lasts. I did not give it a 5 star only because I am worried about the connection between the two pieces. I wonder about durability. I do not intend to break it down into the two pieces so should not be an issue for me.
