I'm a union ironworker in the rebar reinforcement side. This boot holds up very well when working with rebar. They stay dry and don't require any shoe goop like others. My feet stay dry and warm in the Indiana cold and wet winters. They are comfortable and fit great. I rather wear these than thorogoods or brunt boots any day on the job.

Second pair of boots from Irish Setter after wearing my old ones (ankle boots) down over six years of daily use. Look good, feel good, very durable for daily wear.

These boots wear like you had them already for one year once you get your feet in them for the first time. They are very comfortable, elegant, sturdy, slip-safe and also safe for electrical environments. They should last for a long time and will be a good companion.

2 years ago i purchased a pair of these. I also purchased a pair of Thorogoods for the same price. I divided my time wearing them evenly. The Thorogoods split out the side stitching of both boots. I replaced the Thorogoods with Brunts. The Brunts lasted six months before the souls calapsted on the inside. Meanwhile my original Irish Setters are still holding up and barely showing signs of wear. Got this new pair in and have worn them two days without any discomfort on my feet. I will not fear from this brand anymore. They are working on the best for me and lasting the longest.

Gave the boots to my 35 year old son for his birthday. he really loves them.
