TV AV Video RCA Composite Cable Cord for Sony PSP 2000 Console

I bought this AV cable to connect my PSP 3000 to an AV-to-HDMI connector. Guess what I did next? I tested a stream on twitch and the stream's quality was better than I could have ever expected. It actually seemed upscaled from the picture I was looking at on my computer monitor. This cable is specifically for the PSP 2000/3000 series. It will not work with the PSP 1000. Get a PSP 1000 AV cable if you have the PSP 1000 series and you will not have a negative experience. Thank you!

If considering this item, stay clear!!!! Poor quality! *Looking at the video, the connections to the center box on the cable are shotty and produce a picture that flickers as well as very sensitive so you can barely even touch the PSP with out the picture going haywire *Received the item and it was FALLING APART on arrival, the plastic sleeves on the A/V plugs were loose and slide right off and the connection to the center convertor box is loose! Item is low quality and barely even functions to what it's made to do! It is a waste of money to buy and a waste of money to produce, STAY CLEAR AND PAY A LITTLE MORE AS ITS WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY!

I was a little hesitant at first after reading the reviews but decided to get it anyway ! It boots up games and my movies great, I have the 3001 psp. It surpised me that it does both since I heard you need component 👍🏼 looks best on crt! I know my photo doesn’t do Justice!

the red white and yellow cable only allows you to watch umd movies and view media on your psp, it DOES NOT SUPPORT GAME DISPLAY as it advertised!!! to play games on a psp you need a component cable with 5 connectors 2 red white green and blue and also will need a tv that supports this cable

First off, I used it on a flat screen TV, so I don't know if that affected the picture in any way. But, the picture quality was not the best. And the aspect ratio is very small. There were two large black boxes above and below the picture. Also there was flashing while on the home screen which went away while in the game though. Can't say it didn't work though. I guess I was just expecting full screen and slight better picture quality

If you have a PSP 1001, then your PSP has an AV out port that is not going to match the prongs on the 2001 or 3001 models. So that guy saying it is "on the wrong side" doesn't know what he is talking about. Newer slim models have the port on the bottom instead of the corner and the AV cable is shaped this way so you don't accidentally wreck your PSP 1001 or the cable by jamming it in. This cable works with the models it is made for. The quality is fine. It is fuzzy because you are blowing up an ANALOG image on to a larger screen. I tried adding an HDMI adapter, but that actually made it worse. You also can't just plug it in to the PSP. You have to use the menu options to change the output to the TV. So if you have a non-working screen, this won't help you. But if you have the correct hardware, this is pretty much as good as it gets.

I cannot get my PSP 2000 to run a game while displaying through this cable. I get an error message saying it must be connected using a Component (not composite, like this cable) or D-Terminal AV cable, with the picture displayed in progressive mode. I have it set to progressive, and I've tried hooking the PSP up to both an HD monitor via a retrotink 2x and to a regular old CRT TV, and I get the exact same error on both. I can get the menu and images to display just fine (no UMD movies or video files to on my mem card to test that with), but no games whatsoever. Bummer, but it wasn't exactly an expensive cable either.

This Ostent PSP to YWR component/composite RCA cable is great! My entre 42" 4k TV screen shows the PSP image in widescreen! I can finally say, instead of looking at that small square box image, or something weird and odd; I get widescreen cinema and view the PSP UMD in the best image allotted, but now even in 4k! I am really pleased with this cable, as I tried about 3 of them. This one with the loose RCA connections, and reinforced PSP adaptor plug, was by far the best and I was at my choosiest! I am really happy here! Look at the image on a 42" 4k for yourself, Ostent the difference!

Cable fits my PSP 3003 very snugly. Video and audio output is quite lovely on my Trinitron CRT. Overall it's a 10/10. It does exactly what it needs to for less than half the OG price.

Took a gamble hoping this would work for the PSP 3000, and it does! More specifically, I have a 3002, no idea if that makes a difference. Note that games run in a different resolution to the menus. So when opening a game, there is a LOT of flickering as the resolution is changed. However, it stops as soon as the game loads fully. I presume this is a PSP issue and not the cable. My only critique is the cable doesn't feel particularly good quality, and the headphone plug was slightly bent. I was able to push it back without any issue however, and it works perfectly.
