Great stuff I would purchase it again. I love this. It helps my scalp and it helps my skin and it also stops the itching so if I were you, I’d try to purchase it theory is the best stuff I noticed it on here on Amazon so I gave it a try and I don’t have the problems I used to have so if you need something really good and really good for your hair get theory

I love this shampoo. Due to some medical stuff, I currently have a very sensitive scalp and ongoing skin issues. I tried to the Vanicream "free and clear" shampoo. It is supposed to not have a smell and it smells like coconut (a smell I hate) and just put a bunch of knots in my curly hair. I also tried the Vanicream conditioner, which did absolutely nothing, so I had to put a bunch of leave-in conditioner in my hair to be able to comb it, defeating the purpose of not using anything with fragrance (the Theorie conditioner has a similar problem, but is nowhere near as bad). That shampoo also made my scalp itch. This Theorie shampoo is great. I'm not sure what other reviewers meant by it not sudsing up (not a requirement to get hair clean), which it does. I also don't have to use it twice to feel like my hair is clean, even if I skip a day. Definitely recommend trying it, especially if less expensive stuff has not worked for you.

I used to use the Aveeno sulfate free shampoo with seaweed, and it worked great. Then they discontinued that line, and I tried all the replacement options in the Aveeno line, which I've trusted since I was a kid having oatmeal baths after a sun burn. But every single one of them, while claiming to be sulfate free, gave me an allergic reaction. This shampoo, however, has given me the first shower experience in almost a year that didn't end with red burnt splotches on my face and scalp. It's not cheap, but it's not that expensive either as far as a specialty product goes. Thank you for making this product, and please keep carrying it!

Got this as I have asthma and am being triggered lately by fragrances. I also had noticed that my skin is reacting to certain ingredients in products so was hoping this would help with that too. Daughter has eczema so we are all using this shampoo. Between this one and another, I’m observing that the downsides to this type of shampoo are: Leaves hair feeling dried out, lanky and oily the next day. We are having to wash hair every single day. That’s not ideal for wavy/curly hair. The smell of the shampoo is medicinal, like hospital soap? The other one we have smells and feels like glue. I guess fragrances that would normally be added are formulated to cover up that smell. By the next day your head smells funky. It’s like the fragrances in shampoo mask our human smells too, so with this shampoo we have lanky greasy hair by the next day and we smell like we don’t bathe even though we are having to wash our hair every day. Pros: the shampoo does not trigger my asthma or cause skin reactions Lathers up just fine A little goes a long ways, just add water.
