If trimming with a razor you better have a lot of them. I found that cutting with scissors works better. Be sure glass is clean. I used a razor scrapper to get small paint spray off window first. After getting about 2/3 done, I have a couple observations. Do Use a big cutting board, straight edge, and a razor blade knife- measure and cut carefully & deliberately. Don't count on the factory cuts being square/perpendicular- they're not! After cutting to size, using sharp scissors, snip off 1/8" of each corner's point, making a 45 degree angle cut. Wet the window, then scrape ALL the glass with a single-edged razor blade. Clean Prep is 90% of the job. Use lots of misting water on both mating surfaces to be able to move the film around until centered on glass. I've noticed after 2 days of curing, there is a residual tan haze splotched here and there on most panels- I suspect it's the residual adhesive, in spite of repeated firm squeegee'ing during the install.
